Next Week: 2nd Collection World Mission Sunday 2019 We are Baptized and Sent!
Next Sunday, Oct. 20th, is World Mission Sunday, in a special Extraordinary Missionary Month. We are called through our own baptism to be part of the Church’s missionary efforts, through prayer, self-sacrifice and support of missionary vocations through material aid.
Remembering that we are all baptized and sent as the Universal Church of Christ on mission in the world, we can… PRAY for the Church’s worldwide missionary work and OFFER financial HELP and CHARITY through THE SOCIETY FOR THE PROPAGATION OF THE FAITH for vulnerable communities throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Pacific Islands.
LIVING ROSARY
Despite the dismal weather, we had a very nice turnout for our annual LIVING ROSARY last Monday night.
Our thanks to those who joined us and participated in honoring Our Lady of the Rosary on her feastday.
Our thanks also go to the volunteers who helped put everything together in the Church and in the gym where we enjoyed refreshments after the Rosary…
