Purpose StatementThere are many recent technological advances in imaging techniques which can be applied in current clinical practice. Maintenance of certification requirescontinued review of essential imaging techniques in all areas of radiology, including body, thoracic, cardiacand PET imaging.

Target AudienceThis course is designed for practicing clinical radiologists.

Course Description Directed by Alec J. Megibow, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.R., thiswill be NYU’s sixth CME course in Snowmass. Duringthis 4 l/2 day meeting, registrants will be afforded an in-depth exploration of imaging findings in abdominal,thoracic and cardiac diseases. Presentations will demonstrate how current state-of-the-art imaging technology and techniques are applied in clinical practice.Again this year, we will include a series of lectures inoncologic diagnosis using PET and PET/CT. For all presentations, the emphasis is on those methods bywhich the practicing radiologist can harness the powerof the latest technologic developments. Lecturesemphasize image interpretation, differential diagnosis,pitfalls and review the pathophysiologic basis for imaging findings.

Educational Objectives1. Use the latest technology available in MR and CT

(high-field MRI and dual-energy MDCT), to visualize theenhancements in imaging findings and the clinical role ofthese new technologies.

2. Translate the advances of the latest cardiac technology,to create and optimize protocols for cardiovascular,thoracic and abdominal applications in the clinical setting.

3. More effectively use various PET-CT and PET principlesand applications to evaluate patients presenting withcancer, while integrating the oncologic work-up.

How to Reach Deer Valley

You should fly into Salt Lake City Airport and eitherrent a car or, if staying at the Chateaux, book yourshuttle service through the hotel by completing this section on the Hotel Reservation Form (see page 9).

The Chateaux at Silver Lake

The Chateaux at Silver Lake offers extraordinary personalguest services and outstanding European-style condo-minium and lodge accommodations, vaulted lobby andbeautiful staircases. Every square inch of The Chateauxdemonstrates its commitment to details, from carvedstone fireplaces in each room to crafted woodwork. Ithas a work-out facility, outdoor heated pool and hot tub,award-winning restaurant and lounge, business center,sports equipment rental shop, ski valet, and full-serviceconcierge. It offers underground parking for those withvehicles.The Chateaux is not a ski-in/ski-out property butis only a short walk from the lifts and Deer Valley Resortoffers complimentary daytime and overnight ski storageoutside Silver Lake Lodge and at Snow Park Lodge. It islocated three miles from Historic Main Street, whereshops and restaurants are abundant and The Chateauxoffers free regular shuttle service for shopping or dining.

Our Block of RoomsHotel Rooms - We have reserved hotel rooms for

our group (see below for other options). Each roomfeatures king, queen, double-queen or double-doublebed configurations, cable TV, small refrigerator andcoffee maker, fireplace, private bath and high-speedwireless Internet.The square footage is approximately

400 square ft. The nightly rate is $379 per night plustaxes (10.35% tax, 2.85% resort lodging fee and$5/daily housekeeping and bellmen charges).

Studio –These units feature a queen Murphy bed, fullyequipped kitchen, private bath, cable TV, comfortable living area and fireplace.The square footage is approximately 350 sq. ft. The nightly rate is $379 plustaxes (as described above).

One-Bedroom Suite – Includes a hotel room (describedabove) with a separate living room, fully equipped gourmetkitchen and dining area.The living room area has a fireplaceand queen size Murphy bed as well as an additional bathroom and outdoor balcony. Approx. square footage:750 sq. ft. The nightly rate is $765 plus taxes (as describedabove).

The following are not part of our block butcan be reserved on a space-available basis:Two-Bedroom Suite – Offers the combined features

of a 1-bedroom suite and an additional hotel room.The nightly rate is $1079 plus taxes.

Three-Bedroom Suite – Offers the combined features of a 2-bedroom suite and an additional hotel room.The nightly rate is $1415 plus taxes.

Cut-off Date – Reservations must be received byFebruary 7, 2008. Requests after this date will be filled on a space- and rate-available basis.

Deposit/Cancellation Policies• 50% prepayment of total room and tax is due at the time

of reservation by the individual guest.

• Each bedroom will be charged a nightly $5 housekeeping/bellman gratuity and a 2.85% resort lodging fee.

• Final payment will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.

• Individual cancellations made more than 45 days prior toarrival will forfeit a $75 processing fee and cancellationsmade from 45-31 days of arrival will forfeit total deposit;cancellations made within 30 days will forfeit total lodgingcost and associated tax and fees.

• No-shows, early departures, late arrivals or down gradesare subject to full payment of confirmed reservation upon departure.

Advance reservations are essential forall Deer Valley services throughout the

ski season, and especially during themonth of March. Call ahead to make

discounts are possible for ski lessons.The Deer Valley website provides youwith complete information and priceson ski lessons (www.deervalley.com)but it is absolutely essential that you

book your ski lessons as soon as possi-ble (we recommend that you complete

this step in the Fall when you arereserving your hotel).

Discounted Ski Lift Tickets (Deer Valley/Park City)

Lift tickets must be purchased inadvance through Premier Travel of

Philadelphia at a savings of approximately 20% from on site. Please

refer to the attached Ski Lift TicketForm and note that payment must bereceived by February 20, 2008.Totally

unused lift tickets are refundable minus$25 service fee until March 21, 2008,

but once any portion is used, theremaining days cannot be refunded.

The starting date for use of the ticketsis Sunday, March 16, 2008. Note:

Snowboarding is not allowed at DeerValley Resort but is permissible at Park

City Mountain Resort.
