• Forecast Confidence: High-quality forecast confidence estimates from analyses and forecasts for customized risk assessment and decision making

• Research to Operations (and O2R): Successfully leverage cross-cutting and R2O/O2R efforts

A few targeted highlightsA few targeted highlights• A real-time mesoscale analysis: A state-of-the-science

very high resolution gridded analysis (~1km grid spacing at 15 min updates) of all environmental variables.

• Advances in numerical guidance: Advances ranging from storm-scale weather prediction models to far-reaching environmental earth system models.

• Fully calibrated forecast confidence information: Fully accessible and dynamic estimates of forecast confidence for multiple elements for short-to-medium forecast ranges
