CROA Basics - A Colleague End User Perspective (C) Vern Johnson, Linfield College Learn what CROA is and how to build a basic CROA report with step-by-step instructions. We\'ll walk end users through the basics of report writing so they learn some of the quick search techniques that help lessen the frustrations of this powerful reporting tool. We\'ll show you how to create variables, merge universes, format reports, export reports, set reports to run weekly on a schedule, sending them directly to a BI Inbox. Excel Dashboards from Recruiter (B/C) Ryan Garcia, Pacific University Recruiter has become essential in our recruitment of students, but much more can be gained from the program once data is exported to Excel. We will demonstrate what excel is capable of reporting with simple and advance dashboards. We will also show how Excel can ease inner-office reporting.

Higher Ed Data Visualization Using Tableau (B/C) Ken Brown, Whitworth University Explore data analysis and visualization examples and applications in direct support of Admissions, Institutional Advancement, Retention and Business Office and Departmental budgeting and budget analysis. Will highlight the effective use of Tableau to aid daily departmental operations as well as in support of Strategic Planning, Institutional Research and Institutional Effectiveness.

Taking Financial Reporting to the next level with F9+ (C) Jill Pimlot, OA Solutions A demonstration of the Excel based F9 product in the Colleague environment. Setup, functionality and frequently used reporting options will be shown. F9 is a complimentary tool to enable efficient and accurate financial analysis along side regular finance processes and procedures.
