Reference AssessmentA brief survey of reference users conducted one week a year. Was the Librarian approachable /friendly?Yes-8/8Do you feel the librarian understood what you needed?Yes-8/8How well did the Librarian meet your needs? 7-Highly Satisfied, 1 Satisfied

User Responses:

“I feel like I better understand how to research topics and authors. I feel like a can maneuver databases on my own without much of a problem now.”

“The librarian that helped me seemed to know exactly what i was needing for my research, he showed me how to use several databases and found several articles that are perfect for my paper.”

“They are very friendly and they tried very hard to meet the students need.”

“I have had to come to the library for the past few weeks researching for different papers, and both librarians have always been patient with my questions and stayed with me until they knew that they had answered my questions.”

“I found the librarian very helpful, he didnt just look for the books i asked for, but asked what I wanted out of the books and helped me find comparable information. My only complaint was not with the librarian but the selection of materials.”
