Dear Retiree Colleague,
Sub: Subscribed Membership of IRWA- One Time Option for Life Membership and
Renewal of Annual Membership - Reg
As the Annual Membership is due for renewal wef 1st April,2019, IRWA President proposed that we may give
option to all retirees to become Life Members of IRWA through subscribed membership of one time payment of
Rs 5000/- while the retirees who paid annual membership may become Life Members by additional payment of Rs
4000/- before 30th April 2019.
You may be aware that our WP 1134 filed thru NCR by IRWA for higher pension under the EPS ‘95 for all retirees
is slated for hearing on 2nd May 2019. It is a matter of great achievement for IRWA getting registered as an All
India Body of IFFCO Retirees on 10th April 2018, and to have joined the NCR movement as it benefits not only the
retired employees but all retiring employees in future. Nearly 1000 retirees became subscribed members of IRWA
either thru remittance of Life Membership of Rs 5000 or Annual Membership of Rs.1000.
It is our wish to enlist all present retirees to enjoy the anticipated benefits of enhanced pension under EPS 95, and
hope that the fruits of the efforts of the WP 1134 filed in Supreme Court are extended to all our IFFCO retirees and
serving IFFCO employees. Hence this request to become subscribed member of IRWA.
We therefore appeal to
1. All retirees who are yet to become subscribed members of IRWA to become members by remitting a one-
time Life fee Rs 5000/- to IRWA along with the membership form attached herewith
2. All retirees who have paid Annual Membership fee of Rs 1000/- for the year 2018-19 to upgrade their
membership to Life Membership by remitting Rs 4000/- only before 30th April 2019.
