HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
Step 1:
Get the following personal data
(by making the prospect fill up the form)
• Name, Contact Number
• Age and Gender
• Height
• Preconditions:
o Had medical/surgical history ?
o Alcoholic/Smoker ?
o Been previously dieting ?
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION:
Step 2:
Use Tanita Scale to get the following primary data
Weight Physique Rating
Fat % Metabolic Age
Visceral Fat Water%
Bone Mass Muscle Mass
RMR (in Cal.)
ABOUT THE TANITA
1. Can weigh Only up to 300 lbs
2. Can completely evaluate adults only (18 yrs and up)
3. Needs Skin Contact
4. Factors that can affect precision:
o Foot placement
o Posture
o Age and Height entries
What if no Tanita ?
You can find the BMR with following formula
• Age
• Weight in Kg (divide Lbs by 2.2)
• Height in cm (refer to the conversion table)
• BMR Formula
o For men: RMR=(10×weight in kg)+(6.25×height in cm)-(5×age in years) + 5
o For women: RMR=(10×weight in kg)+(6.25×height in cm)-(5×age in years) - 161
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
Step 3:
Compute for the ff data (while sample may be prepared)
• Over Weight/Under Weight
• Timetable for the Program (based on 5lbs weight loss
per month – NO OVERPROMISE please)
• Kg equivalent of Total weight and Fat (for better
visualization). Some persons are more familiar with KG
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
Step 4: Interpret
(note: explain using second person pronoun: “you”, and “the
program” as reference…not “the shake”)
A. “Ma’am/Sir, Your present weight is ______________. Of your weight, _(fat percentage)__ is fat . Based on the Body Fat Index, your fat content is :
Excellent: You have the healthy/ideal amount of fat
Good: BODY FAT amount is OK
Medium: Body fat is already SLIGHTLY EXCESSIVE
BAD: Body Fat amount is ‘ALARMING’; body is definitely under stress
Below Excellent: Body fat is too little – “unhealthy”; you need a specific
amount to maintain body temp. and allow absorption of fat soluble vitamins
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
B. Now, the FAT inside you, goes to 2 areas:
to the skin….and thus you have Subcutaneous FAT……
and to the trunk which becomes the VISCERAL FAT. Your VISCERAL FAT INDEX is:
1-4: Excellent - “this is the ideal”
5-8: Good - “pwede na”
9-11: Medium - “there’s a slight excess already”
12 & up: BAD - “alarming”: your organs in the mid area are entirely covered with FAT; this leads to cholesterol/ triglyceride problems, fatty liver problems, and so on…
NOTE : If person is 8, explain that it’s borderline 9 -> “there’s a slight excess already”. Need to bring you between 1 - 4
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
C.“You need to lose/gain/maintain weight…
Let’s look at your recommended weight….
This means your target is to lose/gain/maintain ____lbs….
The min. average weight loss/gain is 5 lbs. a month…It will take you a minimum of ___ months to lose this. But if we enhance/upgrade your program, the result will be faster.
D. For a healthy weight program, there are conditions though:
1. you must maintain appropriate WATER INTAKE; You need to drink 3 liters of water every day. The healthy water percentage is between 50 to 60%. It says here that you are at ____%
2. You must make sure you are getting your required daily nutrients. Because if you do, the muscle mass and the metabolic rate will not decrease. Thus, YOU NEED PROPER NUTRITION.
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
At the metabolic rate you are presently going, your
body is functioning like a (Metabolic age) years old.
If you want to improve your health, we have a program
just for you.”…..
HOW TO DO WELLNESS EVALUATION
Step 5:
Explain program according their need (Module 2)
• Weight Loss Program: Explain M-W-F
• Weight Gain Program: Cellular Nutrition

“What benefits do I get from your program?”
To explain benefits, choose only 1 of the 3 concepts so as
not to overwhelm:
• For those who need WLP: Muscle-Water-Fat (MWF)
effects
• For those who need WMP/WGP: Cellular Nutrition
• For those who eat unhealthy breakfast/ skip breakfast or
those who are diabetic: Healthy Breakfast
FOR WEIGHT LOSS:
For w. maintenance/ w. gain
Factors that damage and clog the villi:
• Unhealthy food: Saturated fat, Trans fat,
Refined sugar, Starch, Salt, Additives,
Preservatives
• Stress
• Pollution
• Smoking
• Alcohol
• Medications
• Pesticides
• Airborne toxins
CELLULAR NUTRITION
The Results: • Poor nutrients absorption

• Overeating
• Unhealthy weight /fat gain
GOOD NUTRITION will promote…
CLEANSING & repair of the villi
Proper ABSORPTION of good nutrients and guarding against toxins and harmful substances
REGENERATION of strong and healthy cells.
...providing nourishment to the cellular level
CELLULAR NUTRITION
For those who eat unhealthy breakfast or those who skip breakfast
or those who have sugar problems
the healthy breakfast concept…..
PERSONALIZED PROGRAM
Advantages of CALORIE COUNTING
1. Personalizes the program and allows him/her to visualize application
2. Educates him/her on the calorie content and sets controls for him/her to commit
3. Validates the application of the “Shake Program”
DOUBLE WHAMMY:
Control on Calorie Counting
+
Cellular Nutrition Benefits
How to do the personalized program:
1. Compute RMR + Active MR = Total MR in a day
2. Add cal-burned through exercise
3. Explain:
Eat cal = Burn cal : WM
Eat cal > Burn cal : WG
Eat cal < Burn cal : WL
4. Suggest a Meal Program Target
How to compute the Total Metabolic Rate ?
Active Metabolic Rate:
o Woman: RMR x 0,25
o Man: RMR x 0,30
EX: RMR Woman = 1200 cal x 0,25 = 300 cal
If person exercise min 3x a week for at least1 hour:
o Light exercise like fitness, aerobics, jogging, weight lifting = 200 cal/hour.
o Heavy exercise like basketball, soccer, swimming,…) = 300 cal/hour
Ex: 3 x 1 hour fitness/week = 3 x 200 = 600 cal / 7 days = 85 cal/day
TMR: 1200 cal (RMR) + 300 cal (AMR) + 85 (EMR) = 1585 cal
FOR WEIGHT LOSS
Suggest a meal program that cuts 300 to 500 cal from the
DAILY TOTAL METABOLIC RATE, but note:
do not cut more than 500 cal, they become too hungry
do not go below 1,000cal/day for the meal program or
they hardly eat anything
FOR WEIGHT MAINTENANCE
The fat % is already healthy – Min of 1 meal replacement
Do not cut calories. Advice calorie intake to equal
Total Metabolic Rate, and :
The fat % or the visceral fat is still high – Follow weight loss:
FOR WEIGHT GAIN
Advice calorie intake to equal twice the TMR and still go for:
Ex: Member wants/needs to gain 10 lbs and has a TMR of 1400 cal.
For weight gain, advice 1400 x 2 = 2800 cal.
Use meal plan at 2000 cal as reference. If person needs more than 2000 cal/day.
Add more shake, PPP and lean protein like fish/chicken/egg/tofu/seafood
(check calorie list for more examples)

Answers “Why is your program
preferable than other programs?”
To explain practicability, explain how easy it is to
prepare.
For MEALS: either of the two ways:
1. Blender Preparation
2. Shaker Preparation
For SNACKS: Shake + water

In a blender, mix in:
o ½ CUP COLD OR ROOM TEMP WATER
o 1 SACHET OR 2 TBSP SHAKE MIX
o 1 to 2 TBSP INSTANT OATS
o 1/3-1/2 LAKATAN BANANA
Blend for 3-5 minutes. Then add 3-4 cubes of ICE, and
blend again for a few seconds.
Shaker preparation
• Add in 240-250 ml or 8 oz. of any of the ff. liquid:
o non fat milk
o soya milk
o fruit juice without sugar e.g. buko water
o yoghurt drink
• Then pour in a sachet or 2 Tbsp of the shake mix.
• Add in ice cubes if desired.
• Shake vigorously.
Shake mix with water only
• In a shaker, pour in 240 ml water with 1 sachet or 2 Tbsp
