PRESIDENT ELMER H. COOK

From the founding of the Junior College, Mr. Cook has contributed his devotedefforts toward its development. Because of his untir ing interest in its survival, ithas become a thr iving community college in a new location, and has unlimitedpossibilities for further progress. Through the years, the achievements and growthof our college will pr imari ly be the result of his work with the people of thecommunity.

Mr. Vines has contributed not only his talent of management, but also his ever-present willingness to help the students become better adjusted to college life.He has shown an undying spirit for the college which goes "above and beyond theline of duty", and has worked constantly for better student-teacher relations. President of the Student Board for the FirstSemester and Vice-President for the SecondSemester, Bill, throughout his Junior Col-lege career, has displayed outstandingqualities of leadership. Voted Most StudiousBoy, President of Phi Theta Kappa, andmember of the Art Club, Bill has servedwell at all times.

President of the Freshman Class and Out-standing Freshman Boy, Conaly has provedto be a talented worker. A delightful personality and outstandingscholastic ability characterize Sherwood. Pres-ident of the Veteran's Club and member ofPhi Theta Kappa for the Second Semester,his keen mind and ready wit make him anasset to classroom and campus.

DAVID BRUMLEY

One of the leaders of Junior College, David,a member of Phi Theta Kappa, was chosenPresident of the Student Board for theSecond Semester. He was President of theSophomore Class and of the Ensemble forthe First Semester, and was voted "Best AllAround Boy" in Junior College.

WILMA HOPKINS

While maintaining a high scholastic average,Wilma also found time to work in hervarious clubs and was always willing toappear in college programs where her lovelyvoice and engaging personality were a greatasset. She was voted "Most Talented Girl"by her classmates, was elected HomecomingQueen, and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

WAYNE LAYMAN

Voted "Best Looking Boy" by our collegestudents, Wayne was a bri l l iant performeron the basketball team, often high point man.He maintained a good grade average andshowed himself always co-operative andready to work for the best interests of thecollege.

TERESA TERBIETEN

Voted the "Best All Around Girl" in JuniorCollege, she served on the First SemesterStudent Board, as well as Second Semester,was a member of the Numa Staff, and servedas accompanist for the choir. Wherever thereis work to be done, wherever someone isneeded to help with a party, a project, or aprogram, there is Teresa.

LARRY RANDOLPH

With a high scholastic standing, Larry hasdisplayed a tremendous talent in two fieldsof work. . .Dramatics and Journalism. Heturned in a brilliant performance as "Lachie"in "The Hasty Heart", and did outstandingwork as Business Manager of the Lion's Roarfor the First Semester and as Associate Ed-itor of the paper Second Semester. He hasbeen elected "Wittiest Boy."

Always quiet, always unassuming, and alwayswhere she is needed. . .these are some ofSelma's characteristics.
