The diving board Duraflex, Maxi-Flex and Maxiflex model “B” is made of aluminium extrusion type springboard.

The underside extrusion ribs in the fulcrum area is protected with specially formed rubber channels attached to the board with epoxy adhesive.

The Maxi-Flex is manufactured in 16 ft. lengths only. Materials and construction are identical to the regular 16 ft. Duraflex, except for the double taper, plus two extrusions at the bolt attach points that restore original thick-ness at bolt holes. Whereas the regular Duraflex, has a machine taper from tip to fulcrum, the Maxi-Flex, is also machine tapered from fulcrum to anchor.The Maxi-Flex, Model “B” materials and construction are identical to the regular 16 ft. Maxi-Flex, except for the perforations. There are approximately 200 perforations measuring approximately 1.5 inches long and .25 inch wide, extending 21 inches back from the tip end of the board.

Durafirm® supporting structures for springboards are the result of design engineering focused on:Stability, Low noise Level, Safety and Ease of Installation on new or existing decks.All structural members are heavy aluminum castings. All working parts are heat treated, high strength alu-minum forgings or extrusions, treated with Alcoa Duranodic@ “hard” anodize process.Roller, slide and hinge bearings are field replaceable nylon, adjustable for wear.

Durafirm@ Short Stands have fulcrum units identical to the one and Three Meter Stands and similar guard rails and anchoring units. They are designed for use on concrete supports or platforms at either one or Three meter level.

The one meter “Durafirm” stands are available with double guard rails on two sides. “one Meter” stands like the “Three Meter” units have hinged board anchors.

“one Meter” structures are manufactured in five different heights to accommodate pools with deck-to-water level dimensions from 0” to 13” (within uS Diving tolerance: 1M+2). Deck-to-water level dimension of the pool must be indicated at time of placing order.

The Three Meter “Durafirm” Stands are manufactured with similar components to the one Meter Stands. All structural parts are individually coated with a coat of baked epoxy. All fasteners are corrosion resistant aircraft Aluminum alloy with epoxy coating except the deck hold down bolts which are Silicon Bronze. The most important feature of the Three Meter “Durafirm” is the simple 8 point deck and anchorage, which requires no special footing and can be installed on an existing deck, if concrete is of good quality and no less than 5” thick. The guard rails are in Stainless Steel tubing secured to the structure with Stainless Steel strap clamps. Fulcrum bearings are nylon and are adjustable to wear. Grease ports on roller blocks allow lubrication of the roller and side bearings. The hinge and rear support assembly is adjustable vertically in seven 1” increments which makes it possible to level the board on different deck slopes. The Three Meter Board is available in only one model with double guard rails on both sides. The stand is manufactured in three different heights to accommodate deck level to water level dimensions of 0” to 13” (within uS Diving tolerance: 1M+2 3/8”)
