Reserves Collection

Reserves are textbooks, reference texts and articles recommended by lecturers for specific courses as core reading materials. They are marked with a red-spot on the book spine and housed in the Reserves Collection in the respective subject libraries.

Arrangement varies from school to school. For some schools, course notes are available through the commercial vendor, Campus Supplies (Tel: 67935980). Others will make their own arrangements with their students.

Using Computers and Notebooks in the Library

How do I print using my notebook / library computers?

Click on the button labelled “Your Library Account” on the NTU Library homepage. You can log in to your library account using your NTU network account which has been given to you.

Alternatively, go to https://opac.ntu.edu.sg/myaccount.htm

You can log in to library computers using your NTU network account which has been given to you for accessing iNTU Portal and edveNTUre.

During the semester, most libraries are open from Mondays – Fridays (8.30am - 9.30pm) and on Saturdays (8.30am - 5.00pm). All libraries are closed on Sundays and public holidays.Opening hours vary from library to library and according to different periods of the academic year.

The easiest way is to use “Titles A-Z” at the E-Journals page at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/library/ejournals

You can access our databases at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/library/databases

Yes, you can access e-resources remotely. You just need to log in with your NTU network account when prompted, i.e. type in STUDENT\username and password.

Printing and PhotocopyingAre photocopying services available? Yes, photocopying services are provided by the commercial vendor and available in all our libraries. Payment is by CashCard only except for Wang Gungwu Library which requires cash payment.

For library computers, they are already connected to network printers in the vicinity.To print, send your print job to the network printer. Proceed to the Print Release Station nearby and enter your NTU network account. Make payment using EZ-Link or CashCard. Collect your print-out from the designated printer.

Sign in using your NTU network account in the form of STUDENT\username.
