How did the club start? The picture above was really the start. One evening three of us decided to drive The picture above was really the start. One evening three of us decided to drive down to devils dyke to meet another club to see their cars and see them show off the flame kits etc. they never turned up so we took the opportunity to take some stunning photos of our three minis in this remote car park of the beaten track. This led us to think about forming a small club just for ourselves and any other mini lovers in our area as we had no local clubs. The aim was simple, to be a fun and friendly club and do what the members want to do! Since then we have meet many new friends and enjoyed club meets, some club stand at shows, charity meet many new friends and enjoyed club meets, some club stand at shows, charity runs, BBQ runs with them and had fun throughout the period! (Just as we wanted)! We have a website with forum and a Facebook page. Not bad for our first few months and the next year promises to be even better with more mem-bers and a full year of events! Chris, James , Rich !

What’s next for the Club?

We are in the process of designing a new logo which will go on a t-shirt, car sticker, membership card, and a hoody (hopefully)

We are also in discussions with getting discount a local parts supplier All members will have a club email account so we can message each other

more easily

What runs or shows should we do?We are starting to organize next year’s events, so we need to know which ones you can all want to do. I can usually get free entries or reduced prices with a club

stand so please let Chris know.

Free Club?It is our aim to keep the club free! We aim to do the runs and go to shows which do not require costs such as public liability insurance. This may need to change if we grow and next year I propose to have a commit-tee to spread the work. We are looking to introduce a member+ which will include some goodies and membership card (which will entitle mem-bers to discount at local suppliers) there will be a small cost for this but you don’t have to buy if you don’t want to.(we will only charge what it cost us for these to be produced)
