INSIDE THIS ISSUE:
Happy 40th to the NSBPA
( see page 7 )
“You will get service here you will not receive at the dealer. We treat our
customers like family.”
Dick Pound and his colleagues of early followers established and led the Newtown Square Business & Professional Association beginning in 1976.
This organization first met March 11, 1976 so we are 40 years in the making. Congratulations to all founders and long timers still with us! Like business, we are constantly reformatting to stay current with the changing shopping, business and marketing conditions.
As Spring approaches, the Board of Directors for the Newtown Square Business and Professional Association is brain storming ideas to market and publicize the unique collection of stores making Newtown Square a shopping destination. This year, we hope to be making several suggestions leading to initiatives to help put your business on the map!
We have some talented writers on the Board and look forward to hearing about special promotions, lines of product and discounts your business will be or is offering to assist in write ups beamed at local media. You will be receiving an email blast shortly asking for your input.

February Meeting Dunwoody Luncheon
Fellini Café Newtown Square
Monthly Meetups
March Meetup - Thursday, March 10th, 2016
Our February meeting of the general membership was a success. We had 40 members attend to hear Dr. Carol Cary, recently appointed Superintendent of the Marple Newtown School District, speak of her vision for the school district and how that will increase the desire to live, work and shop in Newtown Square.
Dr. Cary had a compelling power point presentation which emphasized the “bucket” concept for each department within the school district. Accessing the successful method to reach each student’s learning ability by whatever means possible is one of Dr. Cary’s priorities.
Turn to page six to view a gallery of some images from the Luncheon. Our next meeting will be hosted at Fellini Café - get all the details below and RSVP soon, tickets are limited.

What can the NSBPA do for your business? During our last board meeting we put together a few forms that will help us understand what your needs are. These forms will help us aid your business goals and ultimately grow the exposure of your products and services within our township and beyond.
Business technology is ever growing and in our highly competitive world so we need to step up how our businesses are seen not only in the physical sense but online and via mobile devices. The onset of national upscale retailers within our community poses a challenge to the traditional ways of doing business. Moving forward, we believe a modern online approach would definitely help our shops and stores transition to the digital age.
Please review and complete the forms below. Someone from NSBPA will contact you to make concrete suggestions on how to maximize your business. Click these links below to begin.
