    Starting up a local youth group (LYG) together with friends ismore than a simple leisure activity. It demands a lot of you asan individual. You have to invest a lot of time and energy. But,for this investment, you get back tremendously much.Being active as a leader is pleasant. Doing things together withothers gives a good feeling. When a participant comes to tellyou that he had a beautiful time and that he looks forward the

    next activ-ity, it givesyou animmensefeeling as aleader.When kidsgive ahigh-fiveduring theweek onthe street,it is great.When a

    mothertells youtheir chil-dren could-nt stopchatterabout theactivities of the local youth group, it feels like you have won anOlympic contest. When We could go on like this with similar experiences. But, its im-portant to realise that you can manage your own leisure time,with friends. You have to be conscious that when you, togetherwith friends, start a local group in your municipality a lot ofthings are possible. For kids and youngsters who participate inthe activities, it is more than a banal recreation. Kids and

    youngsters learn a lot during these activities: teamwork, coop-eration, share attention, give compliments, being tolerant,learning to win and loose, etc. Other talents will be appliedthan those you need at school: social skills, physic skills, hu-mour, expression, creativity This method of learning is calledthe Learn through Play-method.You learn also in the leading team without being aware of it:democracy, team spirit, social skills, consultation, listening,arguing, justice, etc.But there is even more. You are a volunteer: a volunteer whodo ones best unselfish for others. Volunteers dont do it fornothing; they receive a lot of appreciation. A high-five meansa lot.

    nseamn mult mai mult dect de a petrece pur i simplutimp liber. Se cere foarte mult i trebuie s mai depui iceva energie i timp. Dar, totui, la sfrit primeti o mulu-mire enorm. Este plcut de a fi conductor/oare. Te simibine c poi face diferite lucruri mpreun. Dac un partici-pant i spune dup activitate c a petrecut un timp plcut i

    de acum este ncutarea noiiactiviti, apoii apare unsim foarteplcut, de ne-descris, caconduca-tor/oare.

    Jar dac ctevazile mai trziucopiii de pe

    strad i ntindmna pentru a-i spune bunaziua, apoi tesimi minunat.Dac vreomam ti spune

    c copiii nu se pot opri de povestit despre activitile grupu-rilor locale de tineret, apoi te simi ca i cum ai cstiga ocompetiie olimpic. DacMai putem continua s povestim experienele noastre. Estefoarte important de a ti c poi coordona cu timpul supropriu. Trebuie s realizezi c este posibil de a ncepe ungrup local de tineret cu prietenii si n comuna/vecinatatea

    proprie. Pentru tinerii ce particip la activiti - nseamncteva ore banale de relaxare. Tinerii i copiii nva foartemult n timpul activitilor: de a juca i a lucra mpreun, dea atrage atenie, de a da complimente, de a fi tolerant, de anva s ctigi i s pierzi, etc Sunt atrase alte feluri detalente dect la coal: caliti sociale i fizice, umorul, ex-presia, creativitatea, etc Aceast metod de educare omulle numete metoda - Se nvaprin joac. i n echipa deconducere nvei foarte multe, fr ca s realizezi: de a lucrademocratic, de a lucra mpreun, de a te consulta, de aasculta, de a argumenta, multe caliti sociale, justiia, etcMai mult dect att. Eti un voluntar ce te aplici pentru alii.Voluntarii nu fac aceasta gratis; ei apreciaz mult.

    O mn de ajutor nseamn foarte mult.

    Supporting structure LYG Planul de suport LYwG

    Eti conductor/conductoare ntr-un grup local de tineret

    (grup local de tineret/ lucru local de tineret=LYwG).tim c aceasta este o ntreag provocare de a ncepe unLYwG. Nu este ntotdeauna uor de a prelucra, de a schimbatotul. Dar numai din propriile greeli poi nva ceva. i de laaltii poti nva cte ceva. Deaceea aa o formare, pregtireeste nespus de important: cursuri, contactul cu alte grupuri

    locale, adunri, enz.Ca s v putem ajuta mai bine, Somepro a nceput un proiectcu Ministerul Tineretului i Sportului din Romnia (MTS).Din partea Flandriei sunt alturate urmtoarele organizaii detineret: Chiro (micarea de tineret), Scouting VVKSM(micarea de tineret),VDS (Federaia fondurilor animate dejoac),VVJ (Federaia Centrelor de Tineret) i JINT (Ageniaoficial internaional a Lucrului de Tineret).Aceste 5 organizaii sunt gata de a ne ajuta pentru proiectulnostru cu cunotina i experiena proprie.

    Ce conine acest proiect?Grupurile de tineret locale (voi, deci) veti fi suportai dup 2metode. Prima metod este prin Centrul Regional de Tine-

    ret. La moment este rspndit reeaua unui aa Centru deTineret prin toat Romnia. Deci te poti adresa direct la acesteCentre pentru informaie, schimb, formare, suport practic, aviz,etc. Acolo te poi ntlni cu tinerii din alte organizaii de tineret.A doua metod este formarea unei Celule Pedagogice Naionalede Suport. n aceast Celul vor fi ocupate zi la zi cteva puteriprofesionale cu modelul lui LYwG. Ei vor participa mpreun laorganizare, de ex. la cursul din Leghia. Ei vor avea griji de:Lectur, adunri regionale i naionale, etc. Probabil vor vizita iLYGul vostru? n timpul acestui proiect vom forma grupul regi-onal ai voluntarilor.

    Planul de proiect a aprut datorit cursului din Leghia. Organi-zaia Somepro a discutat n Flandria planul cu organizaiile detineret, cu organele consultative i cu Ministerul FlamandalTineretului i Sportului (MTS).Cnd proiectul s-a copt am i plecat imediat la Bucureti. Amfost primii de Mario Ruse, secretarul de stat al tineretului. Amfost ndestulati de timp pentru a discuta planul Cine mai eracu noi? Secretarul de stat Mario Ruse (MTS), Directoarea Rela-tiilor InternationaleMTSAdriana Ciorbaru (nu este pe foto-grafie), colaboratorul cabinetului MTS Doru Pruteanu,AlinaTudora (LYG Ldeti),Amy Onisie (LYG Dumbrava), IstvanHesfelean (LYG Murgeti),AlexandraPreda (noua LYG Bu-cureti), Sofie Roose (Chiro Flandria) i Bart Wynants(Somepro). Planul de proiect este transmis Autoritilor Fla-mande pentru finanare.Dac Autoritile Romne i cele Flamande ajung la un punctcomun, apoi proiectul poate fi nceput prin construirea structurii

    de suport. Ar fi formidabil! S sperm la o aprobare.Aceasta ar duce la un avantaj enorm pentru LYG-ul de azi i deviitor.

But, you can learn a lot from your own mis-takes, and also from the others. Thats why education in youth-related items is important : courses like in Leghia, contacts withother local groups, gatherings,

    To support you in a better way, Somepro has a project to-gether with the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sport(MTS) is in the pipeline. The Flemish side is represented byfollowing national youth organisations: Chiro (youth move-ment), Scouting VVKSM (youth movement),VDS (Federationof Playing Initiatives),VVJ (Federation of Youth Centres) andJINT (Official International Youth Work Agency).

    These five are prepared/willing to guide the project with theirknowledge and experience.

    Whats the purpose of the project?LYG (thats you) will be supported in 2 ways. The first way isvia Regional Youth centres. At the moment, a net of theseYouth Centres is expanding in Rumania. You can go to thesecentres for advice, exchange, education, practical support, infor-mation You will also be able to meet there youngsters ofother youth organisations.

    The second way is by starting a National Pedagogical Cell ofSupport. In this Cell some professionals employees will be activeon a daily basis with the model/structure of a LYG.Together with other volunteers they will organise education, likethe Leghia course. They will also provide other things: youth-oriented lecture, regional and national meetings Maybe theywill come and visit your LYG.During this project we shall start with the education of regionalvolunteers.

    The Leghia-course was the start of the project plan, which isnow going to be developed. Somepro crossed the whole ofFlanders to discuss the plan with youth organisations, negotia-tion forums and the Flemish Ministry of Youth and Sports. We

    travelled to Bucuresti when the plan was ready. Mario Ruse,State Secretary of youth, welcomed us and took the time tolistening to the plan. Who gathered around the discussion table?Secretary of State Mario Ruse (MTS), Director InternationalRelations MTSAdriana Ciorbaru (not on the picture), Cabinetemployee MTS Doru Pruteanu,Alina Tudora (LYG Ladesti),Amy Onisie (LYG Dumbrava), Istvan Hesfelean (LYGMurgesti),Alexandra Preda (new LYG Bucharest), SofieRoose (Chiro Flanders) and Bart Wynants (Somepro).

    In the present, the project plan is up for approval of financingat the Flemish Government. If the Rumanian and the Flemishgovernment select the project out of a whole lot of other propo-sitions, then we can start with the support structure. And thatwould be really great!!!

    Lets hope together for an approval. It would be an enormousadvantage for the present and future LYG in Romania.(Bart - Somepro)

    This course and the special moments I experienced here werebeyond my expectations. I met special people, I got many newfriends, and it was extraordinary!Here I realised that my convictions were right: you can makefriends everywhere if you know how to smile, to communicate,to interact with people (and after the last five days Ioan askedto play too)Our trainers presented our youth organizations in such an inter-esting way that, at the network moment, we really believedthat we were going to do our best to start one.My opinion is that we could repeat this wonderful experienceeven twice a year because it is an interesting and entertainingway to find out new things.I hope to meet all my friends here next year and, of course,many new ones!     Cursul i momentele speciale pecare le-am lsat aici au fost departede ateptrile mele. Am ntlnitoameni speciali, am fcut muliprieteni, a fost extraordinar!Am realizat c am avut dreptate:oriunde poi face prieteni, dac poizmbi, comunica, s fii cu oameni(dup zile Ioan ne-a spus s ju-cm).     To organize another unforgettable course this summer, weorganize a meeting here every month. And of course when thecourse is coming closer there will be more meetings. Meetingsare very important to organize activities. And there are alsosome very important things about meetings. Some of them Iwould like to tell you now.1. When you organize a meeting you have to

    know very well why you organize it. It can be:to prepare an activity or to organize an eveningfor parents, or. You can have lots of reasons,but when you clearly know what you want totalk about you are half the way!2. One or two people can volunteer to preparea schedule of the meeting. This way you donthave to discuss the meeting during the meet-ing.3. It is very handy if one of these people who prepared themeeting also is the chairman of the meeting. Because that per-son knows very well what is going to be discussed and how it isplanned.4. The chairman, who leads the meeting, needs to pay attentionto a few things. First of all it is important that everyone can tell

    what he or she is thinking. Even when there are some peoplewho arent directly telling their opinion, it is the chairmans taskto ask these people about their opinion. It is very important toknow everyones opinion.5. When the same arguments are repeated, the chairman cansummarize the arguments and try to propose something. Wheneveryone has the same opinion, this will be easy. When thereare different opinions, there may be a second discussion. Thisto find something everyone can agree with (consensus) or tovote about something.6. The notes are an other important thing of the meeting. Be-sides someone that leads the meeting, it is very good to havesomeone who takes notes all the time. After the meetinghe/she can make a little report with all the discussed items, the

    decisions that were made and a list of things that need to bedone. This list can contain the things to do, the person who hasto do it and the time and place when it needs to be done.7. When you organize the next meeting you can start by takingthe report of the previous meeting. First you can check if every-one has done the tasks. And you can refresh the decisions ofthat meeting. And then you are ready to start your secondmeeting!By the way if you need to know some punishments for thepeople who didnt do a task, you can ask P! He always hassome wonderful ideas.     un alt curs de var de neuitat. i ntr-adervr, nainte de a n-cepe cursul, vom organiza mai multe adunri. Ele sunt foarteimportante pentru a organiza activiti. i, la fel, exist lucruriimportante n privina adunrilor. Despre unele din ele a dori

    cunoti bine scopul. Este foarteimportant de a cunoate prerea fiecruia.5. Dac unele discuii se repet constant, conductorul trebuies le sumeze i s ncerce s propun ceva. Cnd fiecare areaceeai prere, este mai uor. Cnd sunt diferite preri, e nevoiede organizat a doua discuie. De gsit o soluie unde fiecare sfie de acord.6. Cele mai importante sunt notiile de la adunare. n afar depersoana ce conduce adunarea este nevoie de o alta persoance ia notiile necesare. Dup adunare ea (persoana) poate sfac o mic prezentare a lucrurilor ce au fost discutate, a deci-ziilor luate i lista cerinelor ce trebuie s fie ndeplinite. Aceastalista trebuie sa contina: lucrul pe acas , persoana care tre-buie s ndeplineasc acest lucru, timpul si locul pe cnd trebuies fie ndeplinit.7. La organizarea altei adunri, poti ncepe cu raportarea adun-rii precedente. nti de toate poi controla temele pe acasa fiecruia i poi mprospta deciziile adunrii. i apoi eti gatade a ncepe o a doua adunare!Printre altele, dac ai nevoie de diferite feluri de pedeaps pen-tru persoanele ce nu i-au fcut temele pe acas , ntreab-lpe P!     Last year, a big project was launchedby JINT for young people from Easternand Central-European countries. JINT isthe Flemish organisation that co-ordinates international projects con-cerning youth work. Somepro wasimmediately interested to participate atthis project. In 2001, 2 Flemish and 2Rumanian youngsters took part in thestarting seminar of the project in Brus-sels. They looked at which needs youthwork in Central- and Eastern Europe has and if there were

    other countries with the similar needs. There, the base was setfor the seminar that took place in October 2002 in Dilsen-Stokkem, Belgium. Youngsters from Kosovo, Rumania, Polandand Belgium wanted to work with the topic starting up localyouth work and organised a seminar about it.At the seminar there were 8 Polish, 8 Kosovarian, 8 Flemish and8 Rumanian youngsters present and Bart (Somepro) was thecoordinator. The Somepro-delegation consisted out AngelicaRndasu (Hodora), Istvan Hesfelean (Murgesti), Tudor Jurgiu(Oradea), Alexandra Apan (Oradea), Alina Tudora (Ladesti),Cristina Enache (Dumitresti), Amy Onisie (Dumbrava) andNicoleta Sgavirdea (Slatina-Timis) on the Rumanian side and AnWillems (Turnhout), Irmgard Schelles (Geel) and P de Kort(Geel) were part of the Flemish team.The meaning of the seminar was to create a very practical

    manual which contains all the necessary information for youngpeople who want to start a LYG. The content of this manualisnt theoretical matter that comes out of books, but was deter-mined by all the youngsters who were present in Dilsen-Stokkem. We divided ourselves into 4 groups and in everygroup there were 2 people of the same country. This way wecould learn a lot from each others experiences. Several differ-ent topics were discussed: team of leaders, motivation, recruit-ing members and leaders, location, materials, leaders skills,common values in the leaders team and so on. But we alsowrote down every conclusion. Alina Tudora was asked togather and bundle all the ideas of the seminar in the manual.This is not an easy task, but were sure Alina will bring this jobto a good end. Because life- and also a seminar - isnt all hardwork, we changed our routine of exchanging and discussingexperiences into playing different games. Now, we have toawait the manual which will be ready soon. You will hear moreabout it, because the manual is made in the first place for youall! (An Willems en P de Kort)

    EmPOWERment seminar Seminarul de mPUTERnicireAnul trecut organizaia Jint a nceput unproiect mare pentru tineretul rilor Euro-pei Centrale i de Est. Jint este o organi-zaie ce coordoneaz cu proiectele inter-naionale de tineret. Organizaia Someproa fost pe dat cointeresat s ia parte iea la acest proiect. De aceea, anul trecut(2001) 2 tineri romni i 2 tineri flamanzide la Somepro au participat la seminarulde start a acestui proiect n Brusel. Acolo

    s-au luat n consideraie toate necesitile lucrului de tineret dindiferite tri a Europei Centrale i de Est. S-au mai luat n consi-

    deraie i problemele diferitor ri cu aceleai necesiti. Atuncis-a pus baza seminarului ce a avut loc n octombrie 2002 nDilsen-Stokkem. Tinerii din Cosovo, Romnia i Polonia i-auartat interesul n privina nceputului lucrului local de tineret ide aceea au organizat un seminar cu aceast tem. Au partici-pat la seminar 8 poloneji, 8 cosovari, 8 flamanzi i 8 romni:Angelica Rndau (Hodora), Istvan Hesfelean (Murgeti), TudorJurgiu (Oradea), Alexandra Apan (Oradea), Alina Tudora(Ldeti), Cristina Enache (Dumitreti), Amy Onisie (Dumbrava),Nicoleta Sgavrdea (Slatina-Timi) au format echipa rom-neasc. An Willems (Turnhout), Irmgard Schellens i P de Kort(Geel) au luat parte din echipa flamand. Sensul seminarului afost de a face un manual, care ar fi foarte practic i care arconine informaia necesar pentru tineri pe cnd ar ncepemicarea local de tineret. Coninutul acestui manual n-a fost

    extras din alte cri, dar a fost determinat de tinerii ce au fostprezeni n octombrie n Dilsen-Stokkem. Ne-am nchipuit deacum pe noi nsui n grupuri de lucru alctuii din acelainumr de: flamanzi, romni, cosovari i poloneji. n aa fel amputea s nvm multe din experiena fiecruia. Apreaudiferite teme, nelegeri ca: echipa principal, stimularea condu-ctorilor, recrutarea conducerii, localizarea, materialul, califi-carea animatorilor, aprecierile comune n echipa de coordonarei multe alte. Noi discutam nu numai teme, dar la felmzgleam srguincios toate rezultatele. Dup toate am datpreferina Alinei Tudora, ca ea, la rndul su s adune toateideile seminarului n manual. Desigur, nu este o sarcin usoar,dar Alina va scoate-o la capt! Ca arcul s nu fie ntotdeaunancordat, am fcut schimb de momente cu diferite jocuri degrup. Acum suntem n asteptarea manualului, ce e aproapegata. Vom da de tire de el, deoarece, n primul rnd, manualuleste menionat pentru voi!

    Grupul de copii se mparte n 2 echipe i fiecare din ele construiete cte o tabr. Taberele se gsesc departe

    una de alta, fiecare la marginea terenului marcat. Aa o tabr este construit din crengi i are mrimea: 2 metrilungime i 2 metri lime. Tabra proprie este terenul de siguran pentru echip, aici ei nu pot fi prini deuri. Fiecare tabr are cte un conductor, ce ajut la construirea taberei. n timpul jocului el rmne n tab-r.ntre aceste 2 tabere st un conductor, el este neleptul Kamiras

    Modul desfurrii

    Juctorii sunt cavaleritii i doresc s obin cu echipa sa printre primii harta comorii. Harta se gsete n posesianeleptului Kamiras. Harta comorii i aduce spre comoara regelui Eburos . Conform unei legende mari aceasthart conine 1000 de buci de aur.

    Juctorii din fiecare echip ncep n tabra sa proprie. Ei trebuie foarte repede s capete 50 de bileele (ori basto-nae ori .) de la neleptul i una cte una s le aduc n tabr. Conductorul din tabr numr bileelele.Dac s-au numrat 30, atunci el i spune neleptului. Deci, cine aduce printre primii 50 de bileele, acel primeteharta comorii. Cu aceast hart ei pot pleca n cutarea comorii. A doua echip primete i ea o hart, numaidup ce aduce cele 50 de bileele.

    Dar pericolul n ateapt n pdure: unul ori mai muli uri (conductorii) ncearc s-i opreasc pe cavaleriti(juctorii). Urii se deplaseaza prin toat pdurea, numai n tabr n-au voie s prind pe nimeni.     Adaptarea

    Pentru cei mici: bileelele s fie cu desene: desenezi ceva singur (nite figuri).Pentru cei mai mari: bileelele le poti nlocui cu pahare cu ap. Acum ei nu trebuie s aduc 30 de bileele, ci unaa numr de pahare, ca cldarea s fie plin.Ori ei trebuie s aduc 10 obiecte mari ca de ex: scaun, mtur,

    Expediia de descoperire

    Terenul: pdureamprirea echipei: un numr nedefinit de juctori mprii pe echipe. Fiecare echip are cte un numr.Materialul: Faci planul terenului de joc pe echip. Pe fiecare plan este notat comoara ascuns. Tai planul n 10 buci (ori

    mai multe, dacdoreti ca joaca sdureze mult). Fiecare bucat pui n cte-un plic notat cu numrul echi-pei. Aceste plicuri le ascunzi n pdure.

    Comoara de ex: o ascunzi de mai nainte.

    Joculn testament se gsete planul unde este nsemnat locul comoarei ascunse. Sarcina este de a gsi aceast comoar.

    Desfurarea joculuiPlicurile sunt ascunse peste tot n pdure, de ex: aninate n copaci, sub tufe, etc. Cele 10 plicuri notate cu numrul 1 for-meaz mpreun planul pdurii.Fiecare echip are dreptul s caute plicurile cu numrul su. Sarcina este urmtoare: care echip va gsi printre primele toateplicurile i apoi comoara.Trebuie de atras atenia, ca mpreuna cu comoara s fie aduse i toate plicurile napoi.

    Adaptarean caz c joaca dureaza prea mult, se poate de ascuns cteva extra-plicuri cu sarcina n ele. Aceste plicuri le numerotezi. Deci,

    aceste plicuri nu conin o bucat din plan, ci o sarcin. Sarcina depinde de tema aleas pentru aceast expeditie.

    Jocul mare pe furi

    Numarul persoanelor: o grup mare (minim 10)Terenul: loc de pdureNumarul conductorilor: cel puin 3elul jocului: de a colecta n cutie un numr ct posibil de mare de bileeleMaterialul: - o cutie

    - un stilou- bileele de hrtie (pe bileele scrii numele participanilor)

    nceputul joculuiGseti loc pentru o cutie goal undeva n pdure. Un conductor se aeaz jos la vreo 150 metri deprtare de cutie. Locul,unde se aeaz conductorul, este locul de sejur ai participanilor. Conductorul st aezat pe locul cela tot timpul ct durea-za jocul.elul jocului de pdure este, ca copiii s gseasc ct posibil de multe bileele cu numele su propriu i s le pun n cutie.

    Desfurarea joculuiFiecare copil primete n tabr cte o foaie cu numele su pe ea. Conductorul, la rndul su, scrie de fiecare dat numelepe bileel. Cu acest bileel participantul pleac spre cutie. El/ea ncearc s pun bileelul n cutie. DAR, desigur, aceasta nuse petrece aa pur i simplu. n jurul cutiei stau civa conductori ascuni. n caz ca ei au posibilitate de a-i atinge/pli peparticipani, apoi participantul/a trebuie s-i deie bileelul conductorului. n aa caz, participantul se rentoarce n tabrpentru a lua un bileel nou. Conductorii (cei ce plesc) trebuie s steie ascuni cel puin la 10 metri departe de cutie. Dealtfel este imposibil pentru participani de a-i pune bileelul n cutie.

    Sfritul joculuiLa sfritul jocului toi privesc n cutie. Participantul, ce a reuit s aduc cele mai multe bileele n cutie, a ieit ctigtor.Sfritul jocului l determin conductorul sui. Poi s termini jocul cnd doreti. Aceasta o poi face, cnd copiii sunt dejaobosii.

    Cteva sfaturi

    Desigur sunt mai muli participani dect conducatori (ce plesc). De exemplu, pentru 20 de participanti ai nevoie de 2conductori (plitori). Alege un loc bun i asigurat n pdure. Ai grij ca copiii s nu se loveasc.Dac pdurea este mare, ai grij ca copiii s nu se piard. Locul pentru joac trebuie s fie bine marcat.Variaii

    Jocul este mai emoionat dac te joci seara, la ntuneric. n aa caz ai grij de cteva lanterne i ia seama de securitate. Lafel, ai grij ca padurea s fie bine marcat, ca copiii s nu se piard.

    Pe cnd sunteti ocupati n Romnia cu organizarea activitatilorpentru tineri si copii, noi tot nu stam degeaba n Flandria.ncercam sa ne ntrunam o data pe luna cu echipa de coordona-tori pentru a discuta cte ceva. La cursul din vara trecuta 2002am evoluat la aceste adunari. Acum lucram un an mprejurasupra cursului din vara lui 2003. Din cauza ca este foarte greusa ne ntrunam cu toti coordonatorii, lucram n grupuri mici. Asa

    avem grupuri de lucru n ceea ce priveste: Drumul in Lucru,reteaua (ntretinerea legaturii cu voi), manualului cursului.Poate te ntrebi, de ce noi ne ntrunam asa de des pentru unsingur curs de vara?? Deci, noi dorim sa organizam n fiecare anun curs mai bun dect cel ce s-a dat anul trecut. Anul acestadorim sa schimbam niste lucruri importante:1. n primul rnd vara aceasta vom petrece nu unul ci douacursuri. Vrem sa petrecem 2 cursuri, deoarece primim ncamulte ntrebari de la tinerii romni ce doresc sa nceapa un gruplocal de tineret n comuna sa proprie. Datele de petrecere aacestor 2 cursuri nu sunt nca concretizate.2. n al doilea rnd echipa de coordonare va exista nu numaidin flamanzi. Vara aceasta vor colabora si tinerii romni, ce audeja ceva experienta.3. n al treilea rnd vom propune o programa aparte pentru

    participantii cu mai mare experienta si care au participat deja ntrecut la curs. Mai trziu afli mai multa informatie despreaceasta.Noi, aici n Flandria, trebuie sa plecam n cautarea tinerilor, ce-ar dori sa coordoneze cu cursul. Mai trziu vom ncerca sa pre-gatim cursul si cu tinerii romni. Este destul de mult lucru nplan si organizare. Dar adunarile sunt destul de placute. Dupaadunare plecam sa bem cte ceva si pe la nceputul lui aprilieorganizam un week-end de pregatire cu echipa de coordonare.Dupa efortul, pe care l depunem acum, vom vedea rezultatulmai trziu. Au fost pornite multe grupuri locale. Plus la asta,putem veni la vara n Romnia, ca sa va vedem din nou, safacem cunostinta cu fete noi, sa ne gndim mpreuna asupralucrului de tineret, asupra noilor grupuri locale de tineret

    Pregtirea verii 2003Voorbereidingzomer 2003You mustnt think that while you are organising activities for kidsen youngsters in Romania, over here in Flanders we rest in oureasy chair. We try to have a meeting every month to discussone thing and another. We evaluate the past course in thesummer of 2002. And now were preparing a whole year thecourse of this summer (2003). Because its difficult to meet withthe whole group, thats why we work in little workgroups (=

    WG). For instance WG Drum n Lucru, WG network (keep incontact with you all), WG programme for the course. Maybeyoure asking yourself why we must meet this often to organiseonly one course in the summer?? Well, every year we want toimprove the course and we want to do it as good as possible.This year we shall try to change some important things:1. First of all, there will be not one but 2 courses this summer.The reason why is that more and more Romanian young peopleare asking to start a LYG in their village. The 2 periods arentalready known.2. Second of all, the trainer team will not only exist out ofFlemish trainers. Some experienced Romanian trainers will jointhe Flemish trainers.3. Thirdly we will offer a different program for the more ex-perienced participants, who have been on this course in thepast. More about this later.Our task is to look for young Flemish people who want to join usin being a trainer. Further we will try to prepare the course withsome Romanian people. In all the planning and organising, wehave to put a lot of work. But the meetings are pleasant andrewarding. After the meetings we go and have a drink. It cre-ates a good atmosphere. In April we planned a preparationweekend with the whole team. Plus for the efforts were inject-ing now, we shall see some beautiful result later. A lot of LYGshave started. Most important: when we shall come back toRomania this summer. We shall meet you all again, get to knownew people, think together about youth work, there will be newpeople who want to start LYG. Its still more than worth theeffort!!

    Visits after the courseAfter the course was finished, the animators team didnt goimmediately home. We wanted todelay our leave, just like you. Thatswhy, we made 5-days trip throughRomania after the course. After wesaid good bye to each other, in theevening, we were invited by Amy

    who lives in Dumbrava. Dumbravahas a Jumelage with Oud-Turnhoutand were we organised an after-noon game. Some of us were intro-duced for the first time with the Romanian hospitality and thefamous burning wine and tuica. After some glasses we under-stood that this speaking water made us speak too. The dayafter the course we went by bus to Cluj, were we visited thehistorical town-centre and the local mutuality (ADAM-Cluj).Then, we drove to Murgesti were Isti, Anna and Enik live. Aftera solid evening meal we were invited by the youngsters to atraditional folk dance evening. It was an unforgivable experi-ence by looking at the dansers.The real show - piece.

    At the end weve got the base lessons and could try them evenin the disco. The next day we visited a big salt mine and a mu-sical festival in Sighisoara. You know, were Vlad Tjepeshleaved. All of us were looking patched from the beauty of thiscity from the Middle Age. We closed our day with a small, nicecamping fire and were looking at the stars, dreaming with thenostalgia. Tomorrow will be our last day in Romania. We left toour last destination early in the morning. The village has aJumelage with Geel. After a long journey, late in the afternoonweve arrived in Slatina-Timis. The youth movement organizeda party in the evening. We still had a talk.The next morning, with a lot of pain in our hearts, we wentback to Belgium. We were there 24 ours later.Bart was waiting for us with koffie and the necessary Romanianhospitality. Ziua urmtoare amplecat cu autobusul spre Cluj unde am vizitat oraul centralistoric i mutualitatea local. (ADAM-Cluj). Dup asta am ple-cat spre Murgeti unde triesc Isti, Anna i Enik. Dup omas de sear solid am fost invitai de tineri la o sear dedans folcloric tradiional. A fost o experien de neuitat privin-du-i pe dansatori. Un spectacol adevrat.La sfrit am primit nite lecii de bazi chiar am avut posibi-

    litatea s ncercm cte ceva (la discotec).Ziua urmtoare am vizitat o min mare de sare i un festivalde muzic n Sighioara. tii bine singur, unde tria Vlad e-pe. Priveam cu toii, atini de frumuseea acestui ora medie-val. Am ncheiat ziua cu un focuor de tabr plcut i pri-veam la stele, visnd cu nostalgie. Deoarece mne este ultimanoastr zi n Romnia. Dimineaa ne-am pornit spre ultimanoastr destinaie. Satul ce este nfrit cu Geel. Dup ocltorie lung prin peizajul romnesc am ajuns n sfrsit,dup amez,la Slatina-Timi. Seara micarea de tineret aorganizat o petrecere i am mai discutat cte puin.n dimineaa urmtoare, cu mult durere n inim, ne-amntors napoi n Belgia, unde am ajuns 24 ore mai trziu.Bart ne atepta de acum. Les cinqjours taient pour moi les jours, de quije noublie pas pour le reste de ma vie.Ces cinq jours ont pass trs rapide-ment pour moi. Jai trouv ici les chosesnouvelles et intressantes et jai dcou-vrit, que jaime beaucoup les enfants.Cette exprience maide beaucoup pourmon futur en travaille avec les enfants(professeur). Les petits enfants taientextraordinaires et jespre que je viensencore lanne prochaine ici. Mais je nesais pas exacte par ce que javais lesexamens du BAC. Je vous aime beau-

Aceast experient majut foarte mult deoarece m pregtesc s lucrez cu copiii(nvtoare). Cei mici au fost extraordinari i sper c voi veni ila anul viitor aici.     Being in this camp is more like living all together as a big fam-ily, its simply a strong friendship inwhich nobody is forgotten, all cooper-ate and share their thoughts. All theFlemish leaders, with their childish be-haviour succeeded to reach us, to giveus a little bit of their ability. A part of

    this was translated to us and we wereexcited about their cooperation: grow-ing up as teenagers. By playing songsand games, we felt closer then everand those things gather us together.

    So, Thursday, when we played with the children, they wherelooking at us, there faces were shining and we were proud, thatwe can translate to the others what we have learned in thosedays. After that we realised how important your work is bylearning the games to kids and seeing them so happy. It was agreat moment in my life. (Aly - Berbeti)

    Am fost invitati cu 7 tineri romni la seminarul de mPUTERni-cire n Belgia. Dintodeauna mi-au plcut cltoriile, orict descurte sau lungi ar fi fost. Deaceea am fost bucuroas, cputeam s stau cteva zile n Belgia. Pentru mine a fost o aven-tur speciali snt foarte fericit c am primit aa o ans.Nimeni nu s-a simit in plus n timpul sejurului, toi am fostegali. N-am simit diferena n naionalitate, vrst, sex saureligie. Dar, totui, este o diferen mare ntre Romnia iBelgia. Trebuie de adogat, c timpul urt de afar contrastevident cu sufletele belgienilor, att de deschise i mari.Timp de trei zile am frecventat seminarul din Dilsen-Stokkem(B) n legtur cu grupurile de tineret. Tema a fost nceperea

    lucrului local de tineret. n aa fel am fcut cunotin cu tineriidin Polonia i Kosovo. Am ntlnit numai oameni prietenoi. ntimpul despririi noastre eram foarte obosii, dar n acelai timpputeai citi satisfacia de pe feele noastre. Toi aveam aceeaidorin: S ne revedem.Am nvat multe lucruri n Dilsen-Stokkem. n timpul orelor delucru am sacrificat tot ce e mai bun, am folosit toat energia icunotinele noastre ca s terminm manualul. n ultima zi am

    As a big family Ca o familie mare

    Inima mea va ramne acolo...My heart will be there...

    I was invited for the EmPOWERment-seminar with 7 other Roma-nian youngster in Belgium. It was a special experience. I was glad Igot this chance. During our visit in Belgium, nobody felt superflu-ous. We were all equal. There was no difference between national-itys, age, sex or religion. However Romania and Belgium are differ-ent. I must tell you that the bad Belgium weather contrast sharplywith the friendliness of the people.

    We attended the seminar in Dilsen-Stokkem (B) during three days.The theme was starting up local youth work. We got acquaintedwith youth from Poland and Kosovo. They were all very friendly. Atthe end when we had to take farewell, we were tired, but at thesame time you could read everyones satisfaction on each others

    face. All of us had the same wish: See each other again.

    We have learnt a lot of new things in Dilsen-Stokkem. We havegiven the best of ourselves during the work group sessions. Wehave used up our best energy and knowledge to work on themanual. During the last day, everyone made a visit to the Flemishpartner municipality to meet the Belgian friends. The moment ofleaving was inescapable. This was my worst moment of our stay inBelgium.
