Memories, like embers, burn brightly in our minds and will not fade when the life of our loved ones has passed. Cherished Embers Jewelry provides an opportunity to preserve these memories in a custom, hand crafted piece of glass jewelry that can last forever. These exquisite pieces make wonderful gifts for family and friends.

A small amount of ashes from a loved one, a pet, sand from a honeymoon, flower from a wedding day or any special item or event that has a cherished memory can be encased in fine Italian glass to create a timeless keepsake. All glass beads are handmade and one-of-a-kind.

There are a variety of colours and shapes to choose from or create a custom design with theconsultation of our lampwork artist. Working with ashes can be unpredictable and can result in bubbles and streaks which create special imperfections that make the glasswork unique. The beads can be created so that the ashes can be seen or completely incorporated into the glass. The beads can be used in a pendant, bracelet, keychain, zipper pull, ornament, or anything you desire.

BEADED BRACELET - 7 Encased Ash BeadsThis 7.5 inch (19 cm) elastic bracelet is made with seven encased ash beads and eleven glass beads. Each handmade bead is approximately8 - 9 mm round. The encased ash beads are clear (1), light topaz (2), medium topaz (2), and dark topaz (2) transparent glass. Small black spacers have been placed between all the beads.

BEADED BRACELET - 4 Encased Ash BeadsThis 6 inch (15 cm) elastic bracelet is made with four encased ash beads and twelve custom colour glass beads. Each handmade bead is approximately8 - 9 mm round. The four encased ash beads are made with medium amethyst transparent glass. The twelve custom colur glass beads are made with a combination of pink flower opaque glass and medium amethysttransparent glass. Small silver toned spacers have been placedbetween all the beads. There is a small silver toned heartcharm added.

BRACELET - 3 Encased Ash BeadsThis 7.5 inch (19 cm) bracelet is made with three encased ash beads. The centre is a lentil bead (13.5 mm wide, 10.5 mm thick) that has ash encased in light grass green transparent glass. The two small round beads (8 - 9 mm) have ash encased in clear transparent glass. Silver toned round spacers (6 mm) have been placed between the encased ash beads. Silver toned chain, toggle clasp and heart charm were used.

BRACELET - 1 Encased Ash BeadThis 6.5 - 8.5 inch (16.5 - 21.5 cm) bracelet is made with one encased

ash bead made with a custom colour combination. The bead is a flat disc bead (18.5 mm wide, 10 mm thick) made with light teal and dark

aqua transparent glass. Gunmetal black toned jewelry findings and braided black leather used.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

LAMPWORK ARTISTAfter several years of fighting fires, this local lampwork artist now plays with fire to create unique glassworks. She melts glass with a

torch to create beads and glass art. This artist has a passion for jewelry design and making glass beads.

All glass beads and glassworks are handmade in a studio located in the Spruce Grove and Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada area. Each custom-made piece is professionally created with care and respect. They are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for lasting strength and durability. Each piece is thoroughly cleaned and inspected for excellence.
