KofC Sausage Feed TODAY The 60th Annual Knights of Columbus All You Can Eat Sausage Feed is Sunday, November 4th, 11am-6pm at the St. Mary’s Family Center. Cost is $12 for adults, $5 for children, and kids

younger than 6 eat free. You can buy sausage to take home as well at $5 per pound. Proceeds support the charitable works of the Knights of Columbus. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Remembrance Sheets In honor of the Feast of All Souls, please fill out a Remembrance Sheet to have your beloved deceased family and friends remembered and honored at Mass throughout the month of November. The drawing for our fantastic prizes will be coming soon at our December meeting. We still are accepting dues and ticket donations and will use those funds to support the many charitable causes of the league. Recently, because of your support, we were able to purchase gestational models for the local Right to Life group to use at their Latah County Fair booth. Again, thank you for your participation. We thank you for generously committing to serving our Lord and our parish here at St. Mary’s. All ministers, new and seasoned, need to attend a liturgical ministry training session at St. Mary’s Church for learning and enrichment. Please sign up for one of these sessions with your ministry contact, and come to a session ready to sign up for your choice of weekend, Mass time, and special Masses. If you missed a training that has already taken place, contact your ministry coordinator to schedule a training.

St. Mary’s School Brief If you are a VET, you are invited to come to St. Mary's Parish School on November 12 at 8:15 a.m. The students will be having a prayer service/blessing to honor and

remember all Vets from all the wars. The assembly/ritual will last about 20 minutes. The theme of the rally was “Pursuit” and the kids enjoyed music from Popple and Alex Street as well as some wonderful talks about how God is pursuing us in our lives and how we can also pursue God by using our gifts. The kids were fantastic ambassadors for our parish; I was so very proud of them! Please keep our youth in your prayers as they discover how to use their gifts to pursue God in their lives. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ High School and Junior High Theology of the Body at St. Augustine’s We have stared Theology of the Body study groups for High School and Junior High, but it is not too late for you to join us. The classes will take place on the 1st and 3rd weekends each month this fall, beginning October 7. Both classes will take place upstairs at St. Augustine’s from 11:30-12:30. Our next Wise Elder (Senior) Get-Together will be Monday, November 12 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. We will continue watching Bishop Barron’s New series The Mass. Barron describes “the Mass as a great call and response between Christ, the head, and his mystical body”. We will finish disc one "God Speaks Our Story” and start disc two "Responding to God". There will be time for discussion as we enjoy our coffee, tea and cookies. Our bus will be available for anyone who needs a ride, so please call 882-4813 to be picked up.
