The Event(s)

Welcome to what we believe is the first-ever Guide To Annual Events in Long

Beach. With the assistance of several organizations that helped get the word

out – including the Arts Council of Long Beach, the Long Beach Nonprofit Part-

nership and the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce – the Long Beach Busi-

ness Journal is pleased to present information on more than 300 annual events

scheduled during the 2015 calendar year. The only criteria for listing is that the

event must be held in Long Beach and that it must be an annual event.

The events are listed by month and include the following information as pro-

vided by the presenting organization: Name of event, date(s), time(s), location,

a brief description, the name of the presenting organization and contact infor-

mation for your follow up. There is a cross-reference section: On Pages 20 and 21,

events are listed alphabetically with the corresponding page number to locate

the event information; on Page 22, presenting organizations are listed alphabet-

ically with the corresponding page(s) of their event(s).

We hope this guide serves as a important resource that individuals, organiza-

tions and businesses keep throughout 2015 and refer to it when planning an

event. We also encourage our readers to become more involved – either through

volunteering their time, direct participation or donations – with one or more of

the hundreds of events held within our city.

Long Beach is a great city with great people – and great events. Enjoy!
