When we launched our new brand,

CEO and Managing Director, Steve McCann said,

“Our vibrant new logo gives us a fresh,

contemporary identity and a design for the future.”

This is exactly what our new uniform has been

created for – you – our future.

Our business capabilities are as broad and diversified as our

international customer base. This means, in every interaction

we have with our colleagues and with our customers, we aim to

    showcase our Lendlease values.

Our new uniforms, created in partnership with Roman Daniels, offer

a personalised style that embraces our diverse business needs and

    unified culture.

Your personal presentation is part of the first-class impression you

leave on people and that’s why our new uniforms are made to suit

you – to ensure you not only look great but feel comfortable and

    smart in practical everyday work-wear.

We hope you enjoy wearing your uniform and find our style guide

helpful in what to wear and how to wear it.

Every day people around the world live, work, shop, play or travel via an asset

    created by Lendlease.

    for each garment.

    Uniform Care

  • LENDLEASE | UNIFORM STYLE GUIDE 2016 20

    Ladies Grooming

    Nails:

Fingernails should be kept clean and trimmed. Extreme lengths and colour are not appropriate.

    Jewellery:

Jewellery should be conservative, modest and professional. Watches should be simple and classic in style. Extremes of fashion such as multiple earrings, nose, lip, tongue, nail and eyebrow jewellery is considered inappropriate and is unacceptable during business hours and whilst wearing the uniform.

    Tattoos:

If you have tattoos, please ensure you are mindful of your role and the people you interact with day-to-day. E.g. if you are meeting with Board members, your tattoos should not be on display or obvious. Check with your manager if you are unsure.

    Hair:

Hairstyles should be appropriate for business wear and accessories should be neutral or black.

Extremes in colour are considered inappropriate.

    Lingerie:

Care should be taken to ensure undergarments do not detract from the uniform. Colour co-ordinated undergarments are recommended, particularly with white shirts and blouses.

    Hosiery/Socks:

Your manager will let you know if hosiery is a compulsory part of your uniform, however for most roles it is optional. Plain (neutral or black) hosiery is most suitable. Patterns or textured hosiery is not appropriate to be worn with your uniform. Black or charcoal socks may be worn with Lendlease issued/approved trousers.

    Shoes:

Plain, closed toe leather shoe in black is most appropriate for the Lendlease uniform. Shoes must be clean, polished and maintained in good repair at all times. Shoes are not provided as part of the uniform and may be purchased at your own expense. Steel capped work boots are to be worn on construction sites and should be worn by Operations and Maintenance staff, as required, subject to the type of work being undertaken (check with your manager if you are unsure).

    Makeup:

Makeup should be neutral. A fresh appearance should be maintained at all times, however, makeup should never be applied in view of customers.

    One Lendlease

We purposefully seek to hire people who share our vision of creating the best places and have a positive impact on the world around us.

The way we dress is part of how we uphold and communicate the highest standards of professionalism. When wearing the Lendlease uniform, you are representing a company with great people – like you.

Some useful tips to ensure you are wearing the uniform correctly.

    • Individual variations or additions to the uniform are not permitted.

    • No part of the Lendlease uniform may be worn for non-business purposes.

    • All garments must be clean and pressed at all times.

    • Your Lendlease name badge must be worn on the right side of the garment at all times.

    • Shirts must be tucked inside trousers, skirts or shorts, unless designed to be worn outside the garment.

    • All shirts are to be fully buttoned, excluding the top button (for women).

    • Activities such as smoking are not acceptable whilst wearing the uniform.

    • Only Lendlease issued scarves or ties can be worn with the Lendlease uniform.

    • A plain black belt can compliment the Lendlease uniform.

    Logo Specifications

Our logo is what helps people, internally and externally, identify you as an employee of Lendlease. Wearing it with pride is just as important as wearing it correctly. All uniforms, come from our supplier Roman Daniels, with the Lendlease logo applied.

If an item does not have a logo applied it means it has an exemption such as the mens suit.

At all times you must wear your approved Lendlease badge which is purchased separately through Mediamix.

    Here are the 6 simple

steps to tie a perfect scarf.

  • LENDLEASE | UNIFORM STYLE GUIDE 2016 27

    Who’s our uniform provider?

Lendlease uniforms are provided by Roman Daniels.

    What sizes are available?

An extensive range of sizes are available; including size

6–24 for women and 88 – 128 (suit sizes) for men. Roman

Daniels can provide a made to measure service – for this

service, please contact Roman Daniels at

[email protected] or visit the uniform

    portal at lendlease.romandaniels.com

    I’m a temporary member of the Lendlease team;

    do I need a uniform?

All temporary staff should wear white shirts and black/

navy bottoms to look consistent with permanent staff.

Do I need to pay for my uniform?

Uniform allocations have been developed as a guideline

to ensure employees are issued with a sufficient number

of garments to effectively undertake their duties. Any

uniform requirements over and above the allocation must

be funded by you unless approved by your manager.

    Are uniform purchases tax deductible?

The Lendlease uniform is fully registered as a tax-

deductible wardrobe. This means you can claim any

personal purchases over and above your allocation, as

well as ancillary costs such as dry cleaning, maintenance

and alteration costs as a personal tax deduction.

What do I need if I go on a construction site?

Any Lendlease employees that enter construction sites

are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment

(PPE). You should contact your manager for the issue

of this equipment, including steel capped work boots,

    safety vests and hard hats.

My religious beliefs require me to wear specific

clothing. How will my needs be met?

If your religious beliefs prohibit you from wearing all or

part of the Lendlease uniform, meet with your manager

to discuss the most appropriate work attire options. It

is preferable that any additional or alternative garments

be within the Lendlease uniform colour range or neutral

    colours, where possible.

Are their guidelines for maintenance of my uniform?

To maximise the length of wear of uniform items,

laundering and maintenance advice is on the garment

labels. Cleaning and dry cleaning is at your own expense.

However, these costs are tax deductible.

What happens if I stop working at Lendlease?

All uniforms purchased by Lendlease for employee use

are to be returned to your manager at the completion

of employment. Any Lendlease uniform garments

purchased by you, at your own cost, remain your

property after you leave the company.

Where do I get my name badge?

Name badges are ordered through Lendlease’s

merchandise supplier Mediamix. Ordering of these name

badges can be undertaken through the Procurement site

on Pulse by clicking on the purchasing tab and selecting

your region and then business unit.

    Your Uniform: Questions & Answers

  • LENDLEASE | UNIFORM STYLE GUIDE 2016 28

    Easy Ordering Instructions:

    1. Visit http://lendlease.romandaniels.com and select which area best suits your role and uniform needs.

    2. Select from the choice of garments under the relevant tab to suit your personal requirements and allocated budget.

    3. Check measurement guides for your relevant size.

    4. For all suiting purchases (jacket, trouser, skirt and tailored dress only) the following applies:

    • If you don’t know your size then you can use a nominated Fitting Station, located around Australia for Lendlease, or the Roman Daniels store in Sydney CBD to assist with correct sizing – this is optional.

    • On the product page under HELP WITH MY SIZE click the ‘USE FITTING STATION’ button. Once you have completed your purchase you will be sent an email with a unique customer code for each order. You will need to take this with you to the Fitting Station. You will have your key measurements taken and will be able to try on basic jacket, trouser, skirt and dress blocks to determine the best size for you. This information will then be sent via the web portal to Roman Daniels.

    • Note that the size closest to your measurements will be sent out to the fitting station you visited and in most cases will need minor alterations such as shortening trouser, letting out/taking in waist, taking in dress/skirt sideseams etc. Therefore, it is best to try on your new garments on pick up and arrange then and there if any further alterations are required. Please click alterations option on check out and any alterations will be invoiced accordingly (see approximate charges in the booklist or on the website under Payment, Shipping and Returns).

    • Please note that alterations service is only available if you select the Fitting Station option.

    • Please contact Roman Daniels with the Fitting Station location you plan to visit. It is very important that you retain a copy of the unique customer code as it presents on the online order receipt. It will be eight characters long in upper case e.g. FGYREKMN. This is how the Fitting Station will be able to identify you and relay correct information back to Roman Daniels.

    5. It is advised that one buyer is nominated per office/site/asset so that all orders, queries and any issues can be addressed with them. The buyer should register as per any other online shopping site. It is best that you keep one order per staff member whose name and contact details are to be placed in the SHIPPING section when checking out (especially for Fitting Station orders).

    6. At checkout click the Project Number option and enter the relevant Project number. You may be prompted for additional information appropriate to your business unit.

    7. Personal purchases can be made via paypal and credit card.

    8. Name Badges can be ordered through the Procurement site on Pulse. For large orders, please email [email protected] and provide required names on an Excel spreadsheet for processing. A Sales Order Confirmation will be emailed to you for approval prior to production. Should you have any questions, please email [email protected].

Should you need any further assistance please contact Roman Daniels

directly on (02) 9299 9687 or email [email protected]
