FROM THE MANAGERLeslee Jones
Finally some cooler weather! For those of us that are here year round this is a very welcome change. Just a reminder - the cooler the nights the longer it takes the pool heater to recover the water temperature as the nights are where most of the heat is lost. If you’re a person that likes the water not quite as warm – try to get there in the morning!
We are now on our “winter” mowing schedule. At least some of us can now sleep in on some of those Monday mornings!
As we are approaching our season here just a reminder to those of you that seasonally rent your home. Your seasonal renters must go through the office for a background check. Also please remember that no pets are allowed by seasonal renters, even if you live in a pet section. If you have any questions regarding this please call the office.
Our “Home of the Month” award for October went to 105 Oleander Street. They received their $50 gift card! Make sure that you take a ride by. Good luck to next month’s winner!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

COMPUTER CLINIC
The weekly free Computer Clinic is available once again to help with any problems or questions you may have about your desktop or laptop computer, electronic tablet or smart phone.
What kinds of questions or problems have residents brought to the Clinic? Here are some examples.
• My computer won’t connect wirelessly to the Internet.
• How do I transfer pictures from my digital camera’s SD memory card onto my computer?
• I need to learn how to use Yahoo! Mail. Can you help?
• How can I send an e-mail message to multiple people?
• I am getting an error message that says I have to reinstall Outlook. How do I do that?
Occasionally an issue is too complex or time-consuming to be addressed at the Clinic. In those cases arrangements are often made for an in-home visit, as shown by these recent examples.
• My wireless Internet connection and sound suddenly stopped working.
• My computer can print anything except e-mails. What’s wrong?
• I just bought a new computer. How can I transfer all my files from my old computer?
If you are having any kind of computer problems, you are encouraged to come talk about it any Wednesday between 1:00 and 3:00 o’clock – BEFORE calling a local in-home or carry-in service. When it comes to computers, Herb Van Dyke, Susan Rollison, and Steve Rollison have many years of technical expertise. They may not always be able to work on your computer quickly, but if you can afford to wait for a little while, more often than not they can fix problems without any expense to you.
JULIETSSylvia Richardson
The Juliets will be having breakfast on November 21, 2013 at The Shamrock Cafe at 9:30 a.m. There is a sign-up sheet in the clubhouse. All women in the park are welcome to join us. Come join the fellowship and get to know your Bay Lake family.
