    ObituaryAlice Lawrence - November 1918 - August 2007

    Alice Lawrence emigrated to New Zealand in 1953

    and was involved from the beginning in WDFF in

    the Taranaki region, belonging to Oeo, Otakeho and

    Hawera branches. She held many positions of office

    at both branch and Provincial level and is described

    as one of Provincials most efficient secretaries.

    She was elected to the Honda Committee in 1977as chairperson, and also served as the hostess

    of Honda House. She was a life member of both

    Hawera branch and South Taranaki Provincial and

    was a National Member of Honour.
