●Keep a notebook close by, to write down page references or other things that might be useful.
●Don’t worry if you don’t understand every single word in the book. Keep reading, you will probably understand the gist of it anyway. Don’t look up all the words in a dictionary, only the once that are crucial to understand the context.
●Give yourself mini-deadlines. How many chapters should you read every week (or pages per day)?
●When you write: stick to the topic and don’t include unnecessary information.
