COMPANY OVERVIEW

Novatronic, a company founded in 1988, provides banking application development services, system integration services, customer care electronic channels, payment systems, and IT consulting services. Novatronic’s solutions are primarily focused on developing Client/Server architecture applications, distributed systems, and Internet (Web) applications using database, security, communications and visual environment technology. The knowledge and experience of Novatronic’s staff, as well as ongoing research and development activity, allow us to provide customer remote access and multi-platform environment integration solutions, as well as to implement inter-institutional networks in the business, financial and government sectors. Our involvement and experience in integration and special application projects have translated into specialized product offerings such as the SIX Client/Server multi-platform integration software and the SIX/TCL customer remote access system. In addition, Novatronic offers our customers alternatives in electronic service delivery technology, having done extensive research on public security key technologies, intelligent card technologies and secure payment systems. The SIX/WebLink software product was developed to provide secure Internet transaction services. The SIX/EFT product was developed for institutions that require different financial service delivery channels, such as Point of Sale (POS), ATMs, Kiosks, and Inter-networks, among others. It is switch software that processes financial transactions in accordance with the ISO 8583 international standard, including routing transactions to different servers.

For the financial sector, Novatronic provides e-Banking, e-Payment and e-Commerce system solutions, as well as specialized software that demands the use of high security and communications components. Novatronic has taken advantage of the flexibility of the integration products we have developed and expanded our banking product line by offering the SIX/ATM. This product controls and manages a network of ATMs, making the complex technical and security aspects of these devices seamless for the institution. This product allows the operation of ATMs on TCP/IP networks, whether over the institutions’ private

networks or over public networks, or using other protocols such as X.25 or SNA. Since financial institutions require autonomy for handling their service and delivery channels, and need to preserve the security of their systems, Novatronic has developed the SIX/Security product. This product is a card

code and ID code authentication server that allows the bank to implement different services by using its customers’ card and PIN information. SIX/Internet Banking, based on the SIX/EFT switch, provides secure Internet banking service solutions and provides our personal and corporate banking clients with full virtual service solutions. In the payment systems arena, Novatronic provides solutions for Collection Systems/On-line Collections to telecom, retail and service companies, and Virtual Prepaid Systems to telecom companies. The company also provides solutions for the implementation and integration of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems (Omnivox, Periphonics, and Intervoice, among others) with the application systems of the institution. These include information exchange between the IVR

and the host, as well as the security aspects inherent to this type of service. Call Center solutions based on Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) technology, such as Genesys, Altitude/Easyphone, and Lucent, are being provided for integration with the institution’s Private Branch Exchange (PBX) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Furthermore, Novatronic has POS terminal technology from Hypercom Inc., IVR systems from APEX Voice Communications, as well as security, videoconference and connectivity products. The e-business and e-government world is increasingly demanding better and greater benefits. Therefore, Novatronic offers the

implementation of Portal, Internet, Intranet and Extranet solutions. Among these are an array of BEA Systems products and services: BEA WebLogic, BEA Portal and BEA Tuxedo. Novatronic’s applications and technological competence, as well as the products it has developed, have allowed it to successfully implement a wide variety of solutions. In addition, the company has earned the International Quality Certificate ISO 9001 for all its processes, which ensures the quality of all products and services.
