The Nov campout was at Lake Rousseau RV Park, in Crystal, FL. The weather was finally cooler with just a single day of light rain. RVs started arriving on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and began settling in around the very large oak trees. By Friday morning activities were in full swing with 22 member rigs, 3 drive in and 4 guest rigs. It was so good to see Larry and Cindy Andrews who drove in for the day. Larry’s treatment has significantly shrunk the tumor and he has started back to work. He still faces continuous treatment but not yet sure how long the treatments will continue. Sharon and Roger prepared wooden pieces assembled into Christmas tree shapes which the members painted prior to pasting colorful patterns and topping with Christmas colorful ribbons. Second, many helped stuff about 20 some bears and cut and tied blankets for Boggy Creek. Some went to the Front Porch for dinner and PIE. We also helped Tony Hampton celebrate his recent retirement.

For Saturday morning breakfast our hosts provided delicious sausage gravy and biscuits. Our monthly meeting followed at 10:00. New members are Richard Jamison & Jan Beasley, Tony Hampton & Peggy Carty and Ted & Colleen Litz. Good to see again guests Mo & Judy Beardsley.
