The Explorer’s Class - “Paul, Luther and Wesley: Our United Methodist Heritage” is the topic for the Explorer’s Class through next Sunday. Next Sunday’s focus will be on John Wesley, his conversion experience, and the Methodist emphasis on the doctrine of grace. Come and join us at 9:00 a.m. in the Adult Room.
The 10:30 Contemporary Issues Class will discuss “Why we need Heaven.” According to a recent poll, 76% of Americans believe in heaven and of these, 71% think it an “actual place.” However, after that, agreement about heaven breaks down. Visions of heaven divide people - even those who worship the same God. We will examine out diverse visions of heaven and why they matter.
