This contractor will have heavy equipment on site throughout the project. Work area protection measures will be in affect during time when heavy equipment poses a risk to the public. The public must obey the contractors signs, fencing/guarding and in some cases flagmen in place in order to remain safe during this work.

The area of work is predominately exterior work and will affect pedestrian and vehicular traffic throughout the area of work. Traffic and pedestrian control measures will be in place and provided by the Contractor. Please observe signs and barriers placed on site to direct both pedestrian and vehicular traffic as a component of the Contractors Work Area Protection Measures.
This project will replace the existing Crosswalk on Perth Drive at Visual Arts with new traffic signals located at the laneway between Visual Arts and North Campus Building. The project will also remove and replace the roadway light on Perth Drive south from these traffic to the next set of traffic signals on Perth Drive. Pathway lights adjacent to the road will also be replaced.
