NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING A public meeting to receive input on the following planning applications will be held on: COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE (PUBLIC HEARING) September 2, 2014 at 7:00 pm at VAUGHAN CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBER 2141 MAJOR MACKENZIE DRIVE, VAUGHAN, ONTARIO, L6A 1T1 PROPERTY: South of Teston Road, West side of Bathurst Street, City of Vaughan (Attachments #1 and #2 – Ward 4). APPLICATIONS: The Owner has submitted the following applications: 1. A Zoning By-law Amendment Application (Z.14.005) to rezone the subject lands from the RD3 Residential Detached Zone Three, RD4 Residential Detached Zone Four, RA3(H) Apartment Residential Zone Three with the Holding Symbol “(H)” and OS2 Open Space Park Zone to RT1 Residential Townhouse Zone, to facilitate the development of a common elements condominium with 118 freehold townhouse units on a private condominium road with visitor parking and a parkette, as shown on Attachments #3 to #6 and #9 and #10. 2. A Draft Plan of Condominium (Common Elements) Application (19CDM-14V003) consisting of 5 private condominium common element roads, 26 visitor parking spaces and a 500 m 2 parkette (Attachment #7). 3. A Draft Plan of Subdivision Application (19T-14V005) consisting of one 2.77 ha block (Attachment #8), to facilitate a Condominium Application for common elements and related Site Plan Application DA.14.044 (not subject to statutory Public Meeting under the Planning Act). Please Note: The current as-of-right approvals permit 34 single detached dwellings and 220 apartment dwelling units on the subject site, for a total of 254 units, whereas the current proposal is intended to reduce the overall density to 118 townhouse units. The City will also make your communication and any personal information in it such as your address and postal code or e-mail address available to the public unless you expressly request the City to remove it.
