DEFINITIONS: MINIMUM TOOLThe least intrusive tool, equipment, device, force,
regulation, or practice determined to be necessary to accomplish an essential task, that will also achieve the wilderness management objective.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS
DEFINITIONS: TRADITIONAL/PRIMITIVE TOOLEquipment or methods that generally originated in the
pre-motorized or pioneering era and make use of simple, non-motorized technology (i.e. traditional hand tools).
• Modern versions of non-motorized traditional tools are OK to use

This includes (but is not limited to) wheeled vehicles such as bicycles, game carriers, carts, and wagons.It does not include:
• Skis, snowshoes. snow boards, sleds• Rafts, canoes, kayaks, row boats, etc.• Similar primitive devices without moving parts
