Note to Parents and Caregivers- Sports Week.
Y2
Week beginning 22.6.20
During Sports week the children are being set a challenge to ‘Beat the Teacher.’
An explanation of the events is on the school blog.
This week the Wider Curriculum home learning is to practise their events. There are also extra challenges if the
children want to do them.
As part of the Sports Week, the whole school is looking at the Totley Attitudes to Learning, which includes a task for
creating a poster/PowerPoint.
In Year 2 we have planned for the children to create their poster, PowerPoint or fact file in the following week (week
beginning 29.6.20) as part of their Wider Curriculum. Instructions for this will be sent out next week (week beginning
29.6.20). We have set reading and writing tasks over the next two weeks linked to this in order to support the
children with collecting information for their poster/fact file/PowerPoint.
Any questions please feel free to email us.
