New York College of Podiatric Medicine presentsCONTEMPORARY APPROACHES AT GLEN COVE
Once again, we present this seminar in memory of Louis Anthony Alchermes,
section at the previously-named Community Hospital at Glen Cove. As a 1935 graduate of the First Institute of Podiatry (now NYCPM), and throughout his professional career, Dr. Alchermes was an energetic pioneer and advocate for interdisciplinary educational seminars between podiatric medicine/surgery and allopathic medicine. In 1952, he was a charter member in the founding of the American Podiatry Council, whose focus was the dissemination of
podiatry.
