By the time these words are read, the Pearl will have crested; and, hopefully, will have begun to recede. Then will begin the work of recovery. If you were here on Sunday, you know that we are gathering a list of flood-related needs, and a list of those who can participate in the post-flood work which waits. Many thanks to the many who have indicated their availability to help in ways large and small, and to the many others who may not be able to engage in the work, but who will be praying for and encouraging those who can; all of us, together, doing what we can to be with our neighbors in a season of need.
