Share Stories with Friends! Get Noticed Online and in Print!

1) Go to: northfieldsportsnetwork.mn.oursportscommunity.com

2) Create A New Account. 3) Check your email and click the link. 4) Enter the User Name and Password included in the

email.

*You’ll be asked to update your password and confirm your date of birth the first time you login.

1) Click on the envelope icon below the story you want to share.

2) Enter email addresses. a. Separate email addresses with commas.

You can also share stories to Facebook or Twitter directly from our site. Just look for these icons under the story.

1) Click the “+ Add new Sports News” button on the homepage and choose a category.

2) Next, write a headline and story. 3) Upload a photo or attach a video link. 4) Select a sport, tag a sports organization or a team

and include a URL. 5) Create a calendar entry for fundraisers, registra-

tions, upcoming events and more! Click the “Create Calendar Event +” Button, then enter your start and end date(s) and time(s).

6) Click the Submit button!

*Your story will appear on the site after being approved by a Sports Editor.

Report Results using the Game Wizard!

Your Team must be activated in order to report using the Game Wizard. Activate your team by asking your Sports Organization or by contacting CSD.

3) On the Games tab, select the game you want to report on from the drop down menu. a. Only games that have been played will appear Note: You can view upcoming games on the team calendar.

4) Once you have selected a game, follow the easy, step-step process to complete the Game Wizard.

Once you have reviewed the Recap, your results will appear Live on the site!

1) Once you have been assigned as the Team Adminis-

trator or the Press Box Reporter, Login or go to your

Dashboard.

2) On your Dashboard go to the My Sports Organiza-

tions and Teams box, select your Team and click

Enter Game Results.

Create Your Player Profile

First, log-in using the Username and Password emailed to you. Then follow the steps listed below.

1) On your Dashboard, click the “Create Profile” button or select ‘Edit Profile’, as shown.

* You’ll be asked to change your password the first time you log-in.

2) On the Profile tab, click the ‘Create Player Profile’ button.

3) Complete your profile by first selecting ‘Browse’ and then selecting a photo from your computer.

Next, enter your personal stats, include your High School or College, your hometown and any accomplishments you’d like to share.

Finally, click the ‘Save’ button.

Your Player Profile will be viewable on your Team’s roster and to your Fan network.

Upload Photos!

1) Click the blue camera icon. 2) Search for the sports organization or team you would like to upload photos for. 3) Then select the sport, team and a game (optional). 4) Enter your date of birth or login. 5) Choose how you would like to be recognized. Photo Submitted by: ________________ 6) Click Next.

7) Click the Browse button to begin uploading photos. 8) When all photos have been selected, check the box to agree to the Terms of Use. Then click Next. 9) Add captions and tag players. 10) Click Save!

Photos will appear on the site after being approved by the Sports Organization or Team.

Suggest a Fan!

Suggest that friends and family Become a Fan! of your Team.

1. Click the Become A Fan! icon associated with your Team.

2. Enter email addresses, separated by a comma.

3. Click the Send button.

Congratulations! Your friends and family can now stay

up-to-date on your games and events!

Q: Will every story or result I post appear in the newspaper? A: While we hope that every game and event receives coverage, what is published in the paper is up to the discretion of the sport editor. Using CSD to report and publish your sports news is one of the best ways to see your team’s action in print. Q: I’m a coach. Where do I enter my teams scores? A: Enter your teams scores by using the Game Wizard. First, log-in to the site, or go to your Dashboard. Then in, “My Sports Organizations and Teams”, select your team’s name. From the drop-down menu, click ‘Report Game Results’. Note: A Team must be activated in order to report using the Game Wizard. Activate your team by asking your Sports Organization or by contacting CSD. Q: I’m the coordinator for various teams at my Sports Organization. How do I access the administration area?
