Northcrest Family Night Learn about Equine Assisted Therapies from Kris Lager. One Heart Equestrian Therapy is a non-profit that offers therapeutic services to people with disabilities using horses. Sun, Jan 7, 7:15 pm, GR

Health Center (HC) You may have noticed that we are using the term “Health Center” and the abbreviation “HC” in print from now on. Nothing has changed, but the concept is that all of us may utilize the Health Center at some time. It puts the positive feeling in a wonderful resource right here!

Exercise with Karen! Wellness classes for January will be going in a new direction. Classes will be offered on various days & times throughout the month instead of the same schedule every week (see January calendar). They will in-clude combinations of strength training, qigong, tai chi, yoga, chair yoga, balance, breathing, and brief meditation. All classes will be led by Karen Bates in GR or SR. The class on Mon, Jan 8 has been cancelled. Time for the Mon 22nd class has been changed to 1:30, and one added on the 29th at 1:30, both in the GR. Register at [email protected]

A Matter of Balance Classes Beth Dahlke, the director of the Balance Classes will join us after Tuesday Coffee on the 9th to give you an overview of what to expect. If you are on the waiting list, she will share upcoming dates and options for you. 10:00 am, MDR, Tue, Jan 9.

Learning Across Generations Students from Gilbert High are interested in learning from other generations. They will come for a “Meet & Greet” on Thu, Jan 11, 8:15 –9:00 am in the Founders’ Rm. Please sign up if you are interested in meet-ing and having an on-going relationship with these motivated young people! No obliga-tion incurred after the first meeting.

Price Increase for Northcrest Salon Prices have been maintained for the past 5 years even though costs of products and supplies have been increasing for the NC Salon. A price increase is now warranted for 2018. Please ask the stylists about the new fees and remember the con-venience you enjoy right here at Northcrest!

However, Rashell has agreed to include pie in our menu on the 25th!!
