MSPS CMAR• April 2015 ‐ Board authorized an initial appropriation of $41 million to 

fund the project.

• June and October 2015 ‐ Board authorized execution of contract amendment(s) for procurement, construction packages, and CMAR construction services.

– Maximize use of the $40,120,541 funding available for the project– Purchase of approximately 18 miles of 72‐inch pipe– Construction of weir box within wetlands property

• Balance for the project to be funded upon approval of the GMP and bond sale in April 2016

– Bond sale for MSPS portion was $70,000,000– GMP of $103,500,000– Tabled by the Water Committee

MSPS CMAR• Two major challenges facing the project team

– Manufacturing and delivery of pipes– Keeping CMAR team productive and intact

• Manufacturing and delivery of pipes– Delivery of the pipes scheduled for last week of June 2016– Stopping production can lead to extended delays and additional costs– Ad Memo No. 4671 to reallocate funds to facilitate delivery of pipes on project site– No additional funding required for the project

• Keeping CMAR team productive and intact– Allow the CMAR to construct a new weir box to improve metering – Work is required regardless of wetlands property issue outcome– Work coordinated between Lewis Isaacks and Rosewood Properties– Provides sufficient work for the CMAR team to keep intact
