NAIS Water Relief Project

As you are aware the school is driving the “water relief project”. Mr. Tate would like to personally thank the Oman Embassy for their generous donation of 2000 liters of water towards this project. We also received some cash donations during our UN Market Day. Thank you for all your support. Every little bit helps.

Special needs education:

Our special needs educational program at NAIS is well underway. We have started our on-site speech and occupational therapy sessions. Adapted physical education lessons are also a fixture of the special needs program.

We are happy with our newly built Occupational Therapy room and sure that much value will be added there.

As a school we offer IEPs (individual education plans) for students with special learning needs.

UN Day Market Day:

Our school UN Day Market day was a huge success.

What started out as a “Director Task” turned into a wonderful morning, and

advertisement for the school, demonstrating exactly what the school is all about, and highlighting what our students are capable of doing.

The task was to teach the students about collaboration, about having to learn to

budget, to learn about profit and loss, the benefits of marketing and to understand that we are always stronger together.

A big thank you to all the embassies and parents who, not only supported the

school, but contributed to the day.

Well done to the grade 6-12 students on their effort, I’m proud of all of you.

And lastly a big thank you to the teachers for their guidance during this project.
