The Bank’s North America CSR program carries a strong focus on business ethics, diversity, product innovation to finance a sustainable economy, environmental awareness, climate change research, pro bono services and philanthropy.

The Bank conducts a robust volunteer program through long-standing relationships with local community groups, and also partners with schools and organizations to offer financial education and grants to students. In 2013, BNP Paribas North America committed $1 million to Superstorm Sandy relief efforts and provided employee volunteer opportunities in New York City and surrounding areas. In this regard, it was named “2013 Corporate Partner of the Year” by Jersey Cares. As a group in 2013, the Bank made approximately $8 million in philanthropic contributions in the U.S.
