The active Microban® agentcaptures the relevant patho-genic hospital germs anddestroys the cell membrane,thereby obstructing thefunction, growth and regene-ration of these bacteria. Thisbacteria and fungus-neutrali-sing effect takes place in avery short space of time.

Human cells, and thus theskin, are however unaffectedby the workings of thisagent, because they possessa different cell structure withthick cell walls.
