PURPOSE

The Social Economy Growth Fund will help social economy organisations to grow and increase their capacity to deliver more and better outcomes, and employment opportunities, for people experiencing poverty and disadvantage. Priority will be given to organisations that have a proven track record in supporting homeless people and workless, low income or single parent households, all of whom may face additional barriers e.g. disability or long term health condition, limited or poor literacy/numeracy.

The Social Economy Growth Fund is supported by the European Social Fund and delivered by the Scottish Government Equality, Human Rights and Third Sector Division.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Eligible applicants can be constituted social economy organisations, including social enterprises, who operate in Scotland. We will only support organisations that are solvent and are in a position to continue to successfully deliver service in the longer term. All activity must take place in Scotland.

We cannot accept applications from:

Individuals/ sole traders Profit making organisations Organisations based outside the UK Non-departmental public bodies Applications made by one organisation on behalf of another

Applications and supporting evidence must be submitted by 5pm on the deadline date to [email protected]. Certified hard copies must be received no later than 3 working days after the deadline to the team in Inverness.
