George W. Nordine, owner of Nordine Remodeling, LLC has been thrilling customers with his remodeling services since 1978. With over 38 years of experience and with the help from his wife, Dorothy Nordine, Nordine Remodeling has been exceeding customer expectations in Bloomington-Normal since the start. Some services provided by Nordine Remodeling, LLC include: roofing, siding, windows, remodeling projects, room additions, virtual design, and Nordine Care- Certified Age in Place Specialist. Nordine Remodeling is certified to modify your home to fit your new needs as you grow older. Features such as non-skid flooring, modified hallways to fit wheelchairs or walkers, grab bars and seats for shower areas, and many more other products and services to accommodate the aging population. Nordine Remodeling wants you to be thrilled with your home for as long as possible!

Your home is no different than yourself when it comes to preparing for the cold winter season. Making

sure that your home is prepped and ready for winter can ensure safety of your home and wallet. 1. Prep the Plumbing

Make sure to drain water from outdoor faucets and turn all water off. Roll up garden hoses and store them inside in order to prevent them from exploding and causing damage.

2. Heat Your Home It's important to keep your home warm and starting a fire in your fireplace is one of the most coziest way to do so. Before lighting your fireplace it is important to have your chimney inspected and then cleaned out for any debris. In addition, have your heating system checked and vents cleaned out as well.

3. Seal All Leaks Check your windows and doors for any drafts. It may be necessary for you to install storm doors or windows if drafts are not kept to a minimum. In addition, if any weather stripping around doors or windows is worn then replace them and fill any gaps with caulk.
