Lake Francis Youth Convention ! The Youth Department finished their annual winter youth convention at Lake Francis this past week. Young people gathered from around the field (together with a few visiting young people from southern California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Guatemala and Brazil) gathered under the theme of “A Dollar Saved is a Dollar Earned.” The personal finance presentations were conducted by Salvador Colorado (visiting from Los Angeles), Lidia Tomoiaga, Julian Utupanu (visiting from Colorado), and David Zic.
Music Program - Special Invitation to All We want your musical contribution. Moriah Heights invites anyone who sings or plays an instrument to join us on Sabbath afternoon, January 18. After lunch and Young People's Meeting there will be a sing-a-long. Everyone who sings or plays an instrument is invited to join as as we sing familiar hymns from the hymnal and possibly from memory. Immediately after the close of Sabbath, we also invite the musicians to join us in a short, open discussion about how we can use our musical abilities for the glory of God and benefit of the Sacramento community. Everyone's point of view is welcome and appreciated.
Speakers List The NWUSF local church leaders met last Sunday and settled, to a large degree, the speakers list for the rest of the first quarter, you will find it on the next page.
