Glorified is Allah and all praise is for Allah. There is no God

but Allah and Allah is the greatest. There is no might or

strength except through Allah, Who is the most Supreme,

High.

THE FOUTH KALIMAH TAWHEED (DECLARATION OF

ONENESS OF ALLAH)

ل ا ه ا وحده لا شریك له له الملك و له الحمد یحیی و لا ال الل ی كل شیء قدیر یمیت بیده الخیر وهو عل

There is no God but Allah, He is One, He has no partner.

Everything belongs to Him and all praise is due to Him. He

gives life and death and in His power lays all goodness. And

He has power over everything

تنا وإلیه الن شور الحمد لله ال ذي أحیانا بعد ما أماAll praise is due to Allah who has given us life after death

and to Him is our return.

5th KALIMAH RAD-DE-KUFR (REPENTANCE)

نااعلم به و هم ان ی اعوذ بك من ان اشرك بك شیئا و ا لل اأت من الكفر و استغفرك لما لااعلم به تبت عنه و تبر

ها و اسلمت رك والكذب والغیبۃ والبهتان والمعاص كل الش سول الل محم د ر ل ا الل ه ا منت و اقول لا ال و ا

O Allah! I seek refuge from associating any object with You

which I know of and I seek repentance from this. I have

renounced Kufr, Shirk, lying, backbiting, slandering and

every type of sin. I have become a Muslim and I believe. And

I declare that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is

the messenger of Allah.

BEFORE ENTERING THE TOILET

ی اعوذ بك من الخبث و الخبائث هم ان لل اO Allah I seek protection in You from filth and impurity.

AFTER LEAVING THE TOILET

ال ذی لحمد لل نك ا لاذی وعافانیغفرا ی ا اذهب عن

I seek your pardon. All Praises are due to Allah Who has

taken away from me discomfort and granted me relief.

AFTER DRINKING WATER

تا برحمته ولم ال ذى سقانا عذبا فرا لحمد لل ا یجعله ملحا اجاجا بذنوبنا

All praise is due to Allah, Who of his mercy has granted us

sweet and pleasant water to drink and did not make it bitter

and salty due to our sins.

AFTER DRINKING MILK

هم بارك لنا فیه لل وزدنا منه اO Allah! Grant us abundance in it (the milk) and increase it

(the milk) for us.

DU’AA BEFORE WUDHU

حیم حمن الر الرفع الحدث بسم الل ہ الر توض اAllah, in His name, the Most Gracious Most Merciful. I

intend to make ablution for purification.

DU’AA AFTER WUDHU AND GHUSL

رین بین و اجعلنی من المتطه ا هم اجعلنی من الت و لل ا

O Allah, make me amongst those that repent abundantly and

make me amongst those who are clean and pure.

6th IMAAN –E- MUJMAL (SUMMARY OF FAITH)

ته و قبلت جمیع احكامه و كما هو باسمائه و صفا منت بالل ا اركانه اقرارا بالل سان و تصدیقا بالقلب

I believe in Allah as He (is) with His Names and His

Qualities and I accept all (of) His Commands declaring by

tongue and testifying by heart.

7th IMAAN-I-MUFASSAL (DESCRIPTION OF FAITH)

لاخر والقدر ئكته و كتبه و رسله والیوم ا و مل منت بالل ای و البعث بعد الموت تعال ه من الل خیره و شر

I believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers,

the Final Day, and Destiny of which good and bad is from

Allah Ta’ala and I believe in resurrection, life after death.

ما انا لارض حنیفا و ت وا مو هت وجهی لل ذی فطر الس ان ی وج من المشركین

Verily, I have set my face firmly and truly towards Him Who

created the Heavens and the Earth. And never shall I

ascribe partners to Almighty Allah.

رب نا ولك الحمد Our Lord, Praise be to You.

ی لاعل سبحان رب ی اGlory to my Lord, the Highest.

بواب هم افتح لی ا لل رحمتك اO Allah! Open the doors of Your mercy for me.

هم ان ی اسئلك من فضلك و رحمتك لل اO Allah! Verily I seek Your Bounty and Your Mercy.

DU’AA BEFORE SLEEPING

هم باسمک لل اموت واحییاO Allah! In Your name do I die and live.

DU’AA AFTER AWAKENING

تنا وإلیه الن شور الحمد لل ال ذي أحیانا بعد ما أماAll praise to Allah (SWT), Who revived us to life after

giving us death, and to him we shall have to return

DU’AA FOR PARENTS

وقل ر ب ٱرحمهما كما رب یانی صغیرا O Allah, bestow upon them Thy Mercy even as they

cherished me in childhood.

DU’AA AFTER THE ADHAAN

ذه هم رب ه لل ت سی دنا ا لاة القائمۃ ا عوة الت ام ۃ والص الد فیعۃ و ابعثه مقاما رجۃ الر محم د الوسیلۃ و الفضیلۃ و الد

ن ك لا لقیمۃ م حمود ال ذی وعدت ه وارزقنا شفاعته یوم ا ااحمین تخلف المیعاد برحمتك یا ارحم الر

ALLAHUMMA RABBA HADHIHIL DA`WAT AT-

TAMMAH. WAS SALAT AL-QAIMAH. AATI

SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADA NIL-WASILATA WAL

FADILAH. WADDA RAJATAR’RAFI’AH WA BA`THHU

MAQAMAN MAHMUDAN AL-LADHI WAÀDATAHU

WA RUZQNA SHAFAÀTU YAW’MAL QIYAMATI

INNAKA LA TUKHLIFAL MEÀD.

O Lord of this beautiful Adhan and the Salaah which will

follow, give our Master Mohammad صلى الله عليه وسلم Wasila and greatness

and a very high station. And let him reach the Plain of

Mahmood (Maqam-e-Mahmood) of which You have promised

him and let us receive his Shafaa’at on the Day of Qiyaamah.

Without doubt, You never go against Your Promise. O!

Almighty Allah the Most Merciful and Great

TASHAHUD

و اشهد ان محم دا عبده و رسول اشهد ان ل ل ا الل ه ا ه ا الAll Prayer is for Allah, and worship and goodness. Peace Be

upon You, O Prophet and the Mercy of Allah and His

Blessings. Peace be upon us and on the righteous servants of

Allah. I bear Witness that there is no god but Allah and bear

Witness that Mohammad علیه وسل م is His Servant and صل ی الل

Messenger.

DUROOD-E-IBRAHIM

براهیم ی ا ل محم د كما صل یت عل ی ا ی محم د و عل هم صل عل لل ال ی ا ن ك حمید م جید وعل براهیم ا هم ا لل ی محم د ا بارك عل

O Allah, send Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the

family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his

family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah,

bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have

DU’AA-E-MATHOORA

هم اغفرلی و لوالدی لل ولاستاذی و لجمیع المؤمنین اوالمؤمنات والمسلمین والمسلمات برحمتك یا ارحم

احمین الر O Allah, forgive me, my parents, my Muslim teachers, and all

Muslims, men and women, with Your Mercy. O, the Best of

those who are Merciful.

DU’AA AFTER SALAAH

لاخرة حسنۃ و قنا عذاب نیا حسنۃ و فی ا تنا فی الد رب نا ا الن ار

O Lord! Give us good in this world and in the Hereafter and

save us from the punishment of the fire.

DU’AA-E-QUNOOT

ن ا نستعینك و نستغفرك و نؤمن بك و نتوك ل علیك هم ا لل او نثنی علیك الخیر و نشكرك ولا نكفرك و نخلع و نترك من

ی اك نعبد و لك ن هم ا لل ی و ی فجرك ا صل ی و نسجد و الیك نسعی عذابك ان عذابك بالكف ار نحفد و نرجوا رحمتك و نخش

O Allah, we invoke You for help and beg You for forgiveness,

and we believe in You and have trust in You, and we Praise You,

in the best way and we thank You and we are not ungrateful to

You, and we forsake and turn away from the one that disobeys

You. O Allah, we worship You and pray to You and prostrate

ourselves before You, and we hasten towards You and serve

You, and we hope to receive Your Mercy, and we dread Your

torment, Surely, your chastisement overtakes the unbelievers.

DU’AA WHEN A LOSS OCCURS

ن ا الیه راجعون و ا ن ا لل اFrom Almighty Allah do we come and to Him is our return.

DU’AA WHEN ENTERING THE HOUSE

ی اسا لك خیر المولج وخیرلمخرج هم ان لل ا بسم الل خرجنا و ولجنا بسم الل یوعل ل لنا الس رب نا تو ك م االل علیكم

O Allah! I ask you the blessing of entering the home and the

blessing of leaving the home. With the Name of Allah we

enter and with the Name of Allah we leave and upon our

Sustainer, Allah, do we rely. Peace be upon you.

DU’AA WHEN LEAVING THE HOUSE

توك لت علی الل بسم الل ل ا با الل ة ا و لا حول ولا قو In Allah’s Name, I put trust in Allah and (there is) no power

and no strength except from Allah, the Most High, the Most

Great.

WHEN DRINKING ZAM ZAM

الل هم إن ي أسألك علما نافعا ورزقا واسعا وشفاء من كل داء

O Allah, I ask you for beneficial knowledge, plentiful

provisions and cure from all illnesses.

DU’AA WHEN EATING OR DRINKING AT SOMEONE’S

HOUSE

هم بارك لهم فیما رزقتهم واغفر لهم وارحمهم لل اO Allah! Bless them in what You have provided them and

forgive them and be merciful to them.

DU’AA AFTER EATING OR DRINKING AT SOMEONES

HOUSE

هم اطعم من اطعمنی واسق من سقانی لل اO Allah, feed him who fed me and give him to drink who gave

to drink.

DU’AA WHEN WEARING CLOTHES

ال ذی كسانی ما لحمد لل تجم ل به فی ا اواری به عورتی و ا حیاتی

All Praise be to Allah Who clothed me with that through

which I cover my shame and through which I adorn myself

in my life.

DU’AA WHEN LOOKING IN THE MIRROR

نت نت حس هم ا لل ن خلقیا خلقی فحس O Allah, You have made my body beautiful so beautify my

character as well.

DU’AA WHEN INTENDING TO FAST

رت مت وما اخ هم اصوم غدا ل ك فاغفرلی ما قد لل ا O Allah! I will fast for You tomorrow, therefore forgive

me, my future and past sins.

DU’AA WHEN OPENING THE FAST

ی رزقك منت وعلیك توك لت وعل هم ان ی لك صمت وبك ا لل ا افطرت فتقب ل من ی

O Allah! I have fasted for You, and I believe in You, and I

have complete trust in You and I am breaking my fast with

the food given by You, therefore, accept it from me

WHEN GETTING INTO A VEHICLE

ذا و ما كن ا له مقرنین ر لنا ه ن ال ذی سخ سبح لحمد لل و ای رب نا لمنقلبون ن ا ال ا

Praise be to Allah. Glory be to Him Who has caused this

vehicle to be under His control though we were able to

control it.

WHEN THE VEHICLE IS MOVING

مجر ها بسم ٱلل إن رب ی لغفور ر حیم ىها ومرسى

Allah! In His name, it is moving and it is stopping. Most

certainly. My Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

هم بك اصول وبك احول وبك اسیر لل اO Allah! With Your name I begin this journey and with Your

name I travel around and with the help of Your name, I

travel.

RETURNING FROM A JOURNEY

ئبو ن تا ئبون عابدون لر ب نا حامدون ا We are returning (from our journey); we beg (from Allah)

forgiveness (for our sins); we worship (Allah); we praise our

Sustainer.

AFFECTED BY CALAMITY

هم أجرنی فی مصیبتی واخلف لی لل ن االیہ راجعون،ا ن الل ہ وا انها خیرام

Definitely we are from Allah and to Him is our return. O

Allah, grant reward in my calamity and grant in its place a

good substitute.

AT THE TIME OF DEATH

O Allah! Help me to overcome the agonies of death.

NIYYAH FOR JANAAZA SALAH

ذالمی ت اقتدیت ی ادعوا له تعال لاماماصل ی لل ذا به

I pray to Almighty Allah the Most High, and seek

forgiveness for this dead person, I follow this Imaam.

THANA OF JANAAZA

ك وجل ی جد هم وبحمدك وتبارك اسمك وتعا ل سبحانك الل ه غیركثناءك ولاال

O Allah, Glory and Praise are for You, and blessed is Your

Name, and Exalted is Your Majesty; there is no god but You.

DUA IN JANAAZA SALAH (ADULT)

نا و می تنا و شاهدنا و غاءبنا و صغیرنا و هم اغفر لحی لل انثنا هم من احییته من ا فاحیه علی ١كبیرنا و ذكرنا و ا لل ا

لاسلام لایمان ١ا و من توف یته من ا فتوف ه علی ا

O Allah, forgive our living and dead, our present and absent,

our big and small, and our men and women. O Allah! Whoever

amongst us is kept alive, keep him alive on the Path of Islam.

And whoever You cause to die, let him die with Imaan.

DUA IN JANAAZA SALAH (BOY)

هم اجعله لنا فرطا و اجعله لنا اجرا و لل ذخرا و اجعله لنا ا شافعا و مشف عا

O Allah, make him for us a source of salvation, and make him

for us a source of rewards and benefits, and make him for

us an intercessor whose intercession has been accepted.

DUA IN JANAAZA SALAH (GIRL)

هم اجعلها لنا فرطا و اجعلها لنا اجرا و ذخرا و اجعلها لنا لل ا شافعۃ و مشف عۃ

O Allah, make her for us a source of salvation, and make her

ENTERING THE GRAVEYARD

منین والمسلمین و یار من المو لام علیكم اهل الد لس ا لنا ولكم بكم لاحقون نسئل الل ن ا انشاء الل یۃالعاف ا

Peace be upon you – O M’u’mineen and Muslimeen – who dwell

in this place. And, Insha-Allaah, we shall join you. We ask

Allah for our and Your Safety.

LAYING THE DEAD INTO THE GRAVE

ی مل ۃ رسول الل وعل بسم الل Allah, in His name and upon the manner of Rasoolullah صل ی الل .do we place this body to rest علیه وسل م

FILLING THE GRAVE WITH SOIL

When throwing the first handful of soil, say

منها خلقنكمFrom dust did we create you.

When throwing the second handful of soil, say

و فیها نعیدكم

And to dust shall we return you.

When throwing the third handful of soil, say

ى و منها نخرجكم تارة اخرAnd from dust shall we raised you again.

LEAVING A GATHERING

نت استغفرك ل ا ا ه ا هم وبحمدك اشهد ان ل ا ال سبحانك الل توب الیك وا

Glory be to Allah and praise be unto him. You are pure, O

Allah, and praise be to you. I bear witness that there is none

worthy of worship except you and I beg forgiveness from

you and I repent before you.

VISITING THE SICK

هم لا باس طهور انشاء الل لل ا لا باس طهور انشاء الل هم عافه اشفه ا لل

Do not despair. This is a cleansing (of sins) – If Allah wills.

O Allah! Cure him. O Allah! Grant him safety (from all

calamities).

DUA FOR FEVER

العظیم من الكبیر اعوذ با لل ار بسم الل كل عرق ن ع الن ار حر من شر و

Allah In His Name, the Great. I seek refuge in Allah, the

Magnificent, from the evil of every spurting vein and from

the evil of the heat of the Fire.

BOOK SIX

DU’AA FOR BODILY PAIN

ما اجد واحاذراعوذ با وقدرته من شر لل I seek protection in Allah and His Might from the evil of

what I feel and fear.

WHEN IN DISTRESS / DIFFICULTY

ونعم الوكیل وعلی الل توك لنا حسبنا الل Allah is enough for us and He is the Best Helper. We put

our trust in Allah.

المین نت سبحانك ان ی كنت من الظ ل ا ا ه ا لا الNone has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)),

Glorified (and Exalted) are You (above all that (evil) they

associate with You). Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers.

SEEING SOMEONE IN DISTRESS / DIFFICULTY

م ن ی كثیر م لنی عل ال ذی عافانی مم ا ابتلا ك به وفض لحمد لل ا خلق تفضیلا

All Praise be to Allah Who saved me from this difficulty in

which you are involved and conferred on me special favours

-above a great part of His creation.

WHEN A LOSS OCCURS

ن ا الیه راجعون و ا ن ا لل اFrom Almighty Allah do we come and to Him is our return.

SIGHTING THE MOON

ذالغاسق ه من شر اعوذ با الل I seek refuge in Allah from the evil contained in that Moon

which sets.

DUA AFTER SALAAH

حیم حمن الر الر بسم الل وة ل لمین والص رب الع لحمد لل ی اشرف ا لام عل والس

له واصحابه ی ا لانبیاء والمرسلین سی دنا محم د و عل ا اجمعین

Allah, In the Name of the Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All

Praise are due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Blessings

and Salutations be upon the best of the Prophets, our

Master Mohammad, his descendants and all his Sahaba.

works come to completion.

DUA’A TO ASK ALLAH FOR FORGIVENESS

ن ك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عن ی هم ا لل اO Allah! You are forgiving, and you love forgiving. So

forgive me.

ن ك عفو كریم تحب العفو هم ا لل فاعف عن ی یا غفور یا ا غفور یا غفور

O Allah! You are forgiving, and you love forgiving. So

forgive me.

هم لل میع العلیم و تب ا نت الس ن ك ا رب نا تقب ل من ا احیم اب الر نت الت و ن ك ا علینا ا

O Allah, our Lord! Accept from us our request. Surely, You

are All-Hearing, All-Knowing. Accept our repentance.

Surely, You are Aft-Returning, Most Merciful.

أستغفر الله ربي من كل ذنب وأتوب إلیه I seek forgiveness from Allah, for all the sins and I

repent.

ا أنت خلقتني وأنا عبدك وأنا علی ي لا إله إل لل هم أنت رب اووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء عهدك

لك بنعمتك علي . یغفر وأبوء لك بذنبیفاغفر لي فإن ه لا ا أنت نوب إل الذ

Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped

but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am

faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I

seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I

acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed

upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You

to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.
