non-usta tennis leagues in nashville, tennessee
TRANSCRIPT
Formerly known as Heart of Tennessee Tennis (HOTT), Tennis Nashville is a community organization designed to connect tennis players in the area. In addition to the many leagues sponsored by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), Nashville Tennis connects players with a wide range of non-USTA leagues.
One of the most popular non-USTA leagues supported by Tennis Nashville is the Nashville Area Ladies Tennis Association (NALTA), an outdoor women’s league whose history extends back 40 years.
Players can choose from a number of singles and doubles leagues, each with its own tier of ranked players.
Another popular local league not affiliated with the USTA is Nashville Team Tennis (NTT), designed for the “seriously fun competitive player” over 21 years of age. NTT games take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Centennial Sportsplex, typically between the months of July and November.
