Step 2: Prepare the Data Configuration file

� Configure the NodeB Data Configuration file by CME tool;

� Export it to be NodeBCfg.xml file

� Copy the file (NodeBCfg.xml) to your lap-top;

Upgrade the NodeB Software and Download the NodeB Data File

1) Open the Data Configure File Transfer Window

Step 3: Download the Data Configuration file


2) Input the file path of NodeBCfg.xml



3) Download the NodeBCfg.xml



4) Download the NodeBCfg.xml in progressing



5) Download the NodeBCfg.xml successfully



Step 4: Reset NodeB


When a NodeB is reset, all the boards in it are rese t and the services carried on it are disrupted .

Step 6: commissioning the transmission� Check the status of NBAP by DSP IUBP:;



Check the status of ALCAP by DSP AAL2NODE:;



Check the status of AAL2PATH by DSP AAL2PATH:;





IF local status unavailable or have faults please r efer to the NodeB trouble shooting.

Step 8: Check the VSWR Value


Note: The value must be less than 1.5, normally it should be 1.3 or less.Others please refer to the NodeB trouble shooting.

NOTES:

� If the upper items are not available, check the low er layer status

� Check the ATM layer negotiating parameters


� Check the physical lower parameters

� All the command parameters please get help from the online help
