DETAILED METHOD STATEMENT FORCONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY DETOUR

A.MOBILIZATIONReinforced Concrete Pipe Culvert (910mm 0) will be hauled by BoomTruck (2T) to construction area.
B.METHODOLOGYTemporary detour will be constructed on upstreamside on existing road.Reinforced Concrete Pipe Culvert will be installed by Boom Truck atwaterway portion. ( Figure No. 1)
After RC Pipe are laid, placing of mortar will be commenced for coveringpipe joint.
Embankment will be carried out by Payloader (2.4 cubic). The material forTemporary detour road will be hauled from downstreamside where ourapproved materials source is located. Borrow materials will be loaded byPayloader to Dumptruck (10T). It will be spread out by Road Grader(Blade: 3.1m) and compacted by Vibratory Roller (10T). Embankmentthickness is 600mm and width of top is 3.0 meters. (Figure No. 2)
After completion of embankment works, the bed protective works are commenced. The inside materials of sand bags are mixed gravel & sand.
Gravel surface will be commenced with a thickness of 100mm and widthis 3.0 meters. (Figure No. 3 )

As what has been the company's standard operating schedule, safety ofeveryone including materials and equipment is always of our utmostconcern. Normal Safety procedures being required at site are thefollowing:
1.Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all workerswithin the construction site.
2.Placing of readable warning and informative signs on strategic location within the project site.
3.Provission of signal man particularly during lifting works.
4.Safety check on all lifting machines and equipment and cables.
