Project Scope:As part of a district moderniza-tion program for the El Rancho School District, the alteration of an existing 2,000 sq.ft classroom building was modified to provide 485 sq.ft space for a new culinary classroom.

The new culinary classroom included a full kitchenequipment installation. Thiswould give the students anopportunity to learn different cooking techniques and discover new skills in the preparation of different dishes.

Responsibilities: Prepared construction documents and field verified existing condi-tions and coordinated with all consultants. Prepared interior space studies on color options for client’s approval.

Scope:Construction of new two-story single family dwelling. A total addition of 1846 square feet including 886 square feet on the first floor and 960 square feet on the second floor.

The project was completed in the summer of 2009.

Responsibilities:Created Schematic Design ideas for client and prepared a complete construction docu-ment set. Coordinated with structural engineer for final LA Department Building and Safety City approval.
