*Ph.D. Thesis Title: Magnetization Studies of superconductors (Experimental studies and theoretical Modeling)**Research during PDF: Superconductor/semiconductor hetero-junction: Quasi-particle transport studies at low temperature and high magnetic field.***I am taking course on Materials Science and doing collaborative research with Trinity College Dublin since July 2004. We have published many research papers in collaborations (see the list of publications).

(1)Group In-charge, Materials Science Group, Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi (January 1997-September, 2009): To start the Materials science group, I took the responsibility as group in-charge. The group has been established with world class facility to cover the need of Indian universities. About 65 groups of various universities, institutes and colleges got benefit of the facilities generated. I was co-ordinating with the universities to plan their experimental proposals, experiments and scheduling their experiments.

(2)Head, Centre for materials science and Engineering, NIT Hamirpur (September, 2009-May 2013): I have established the centre for materials science and engineering. This centre is planned to have all sophisticated facilities to perform internationally competent resraech and technology. The idea is to have this centre in the state of Himachal Pradesh where no such type of research centre for materials technology is existing. The M.Tech and Ph.D. program in materials science have been started. The centre is working very nicely.

(3)Coordinator Inter-NIT Networking and International programs at NIT Hamirpur (January 2010-May, 2013). In this program I have established collaborations with various foreign laboratories and sent many students for their project work to Finland, Germany and Japan.

(4)Principal, Beant College of Engineering & Technology, Gurdaspur (May, 2013- May, 2016) : The college got Academic Autonomy from University Grant Commission, New Delhi.
