We believe every person is of sacred worth and created in God’s image. We commit to Jesus’ example of inclusive love, care, and intentional hospitality with persons of every race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, faith story, physical or mental ability, economic status, or political perspective. We respect our diversity of opin-ion and expressions of faith. Therefore, as God loves us, so let us love and serve in the name of Christ.

Advent Festival
A few months ago, Christy Perkey, co-teacher of Parent and Child Music Group, had a wonderful idea—Belmonters creating a recording of songs of faith for the youngest church members, the newborns. The intent would be for each new-born in the church to receive a CD when he or she is born as a gift from Belmont so the child can hear the word of God. David Henry helped Christy’s dream become a reality on July 1st, when he recorded the vari-ous Belmont musicians singing and playing eleven different songs, including “Jesus Loves Me” and “Kum Ba Yah”. After the first listen of the completed CD, the group
thought that people of all ages will enjoy listening to it. CDs are available in the Iris Room today. Any small donation is appreciated to help cover the cost of production.
