Reflection: How do you feel about the concept of pain coming from your
repressed emotions as opposed to a structural abnormality? What is
your inner skeptic saying? Is it telling you that this kind of thinking is
ridiculous? Too strange to be true? HEAR that voice, give it the air time
it needs. We always need to play devil’s advocate play out both sides
of the argument to clear the air and allow our minds to open, in order
to heal. Set a timer for 20 minutes. Turn the phone over or the timer
around so you can’t watch it, and simply write on the topic until the
alarm dings.
