An entrepreneur at heart, Nicolas Duvernois has always been full of ideas.After his first business endeavour went sour in 2006, he decided to found PUR Vodka. Since he knew absolutely nothing about the industry, it all began with a Google search for the word “vodka.” In order to finance the project, Mr. Duvernois worked as a hospital custodian by night and developed vodka by day for nearly four years.

Nicolas Duvernois is the founding president of PUR Vodka, the first ultra-premium vodka produced in Quebec and the most award-winning Canadian vodka. After a few years of research and development, PUR Vodka was ranked the best vodka in the world at the prestigious Vodka Masters competition in London before even a single bottle was sold.

Today, PUR Vodka is available across Canada and considered one of the world’s finest vodkas by leading wine experts and mixologists, having won over 40 international prizes in the last five years.

In fall 2015, Nicolas Duvernois will launch his first book, PUR Entrepreneur. With nearly 10 years of hard work behind him, including a roller coaster ride of personal and professional experiences and a lot of sacrifices, PUR Entrepreneur promises to be a business book unlike any other, featuring a unique story.
