We  Are  the  Art  Campaign

                                                                              Do  you  want  your  “art”  to  become  a  part  of  a  major  music  video  by  a  Los  

Angeles  band?      Here's  your  chance…    The  band  Nico  Vega  has  partnered  with  the  ICAF  to  create  a  music  video  for  their  new  song  “We  Are  The  Art”.          We  invite  you  to  direct  your  own  music  video  inspired  by  Nico  Vega’s  song,  We  Are  The  Art,  so  that  your  video  on  your  art  and  creative  process  might  be  included  in  the  music  video  that  Nico  Vega  will  produce.        Once  the  final  video  is  compiled,  we  will  host  a  live  international  web  chat  for  the  world  premiere  of  the  ICAF  –  We  Art  The  Art  music  video.        

We  Are  The    Art  -­‐-­‐  Instruction  Sheet    

1) Listen  to  the  Nico  Vega  song  “We  Are  The  Art”        a. http://bit.ly/TSFNdC    (copy  and  paste  into  browser)  

2) Capture  a  3-­‐5  minute  video  of  yourself  and  your  artwork.  All  forms  of  art  are  welcome  and  encouraged.    

3) Please  include  in  your  video  the  statement  –  “I  am  the  art.    We  are  the  art”  in  your  mother  tongue.    Both,  written  on  a  playcard  and  spoken  by  you.    

4) Upload  your  video  to  the  free  file  sharing  website  wetransfer.com  and  email  the  link  to  media@icaf.org  -­‐-­‐  alternatively,  if  the  video  is  10Mg  or  less,  you  can  email  it  directly  to  media@icaf.org.    

5) DUE  DATE:  January  31st,  2013.          

MEET  THE  BAND:    Nico  Vega    Nico  Vega  is  a  vibrant  up-­‐and-­‐coming  band  that  has  created  an  album  inspired  by  the  importance  of  art  in  everyday  life,  aptly  titled  “We  Are  The  Art”.    Their  music  has  been  featured  in  TV  shows  and  movies,  most  recently  in  the  trailer  for  the  video  game  BioShock  Infinite  as  well  as  the  trailer  for  the  Tom  Cruise  movie  Jack  Reacher.    Their  music  has  inspired  fans  around  the  country  and  across  the  world.        They  share  your  love  of  art  and  the  creative  process  and  are  excited  to  meet  you  through  your  artwork.        Watch  their  video  statement  about  the  We  Are  The  Art  campaign  here  -­‐à  http://bit.ly/TcsFPj
