No two journeys are the same. We began our journey in 2011 when our founder, Min Lane, grew tired of hunting for the perfect leather bag. Back then, if you were looking for a leather bag that was affordable, beautifully crafted and functional enough to carry all life’s essentials, you’d be lucky to find something that came remotely close. So Min designed some herself and Niche Lane was born. In just a short time, the brand has gone from strength to strength. Min met Richard in 2013, and together they embarked on their first journey together. 2 years on, and along with re-launching our online store, we’re thrilled to be stocked by a range of boutique stores, in the UK and beyond.

With a focus on high quality, but at a fair price, we’ve won fans all over the world. It just goes to show what can happen when you let your experiences guide you.

Our search for the perfect leather led us to full-grain Buffalo hide. The best part of a hide, it’s the first choice for premium leather craftsman, because of its strength, durability and character. We choose pull-up leather, because the natural oils in the leather create an incredibly tactile finish that’s soft to the touch, and develops character with age. Finished with our signature cotton drill lining in deep violet, the more you use the bags in The Buffalo Collection, the more unique they become. Carry your stories. Cherish your scars.
