2 NIBE VPB 200N

Efficient hot waterNIBE VPB 200N is designed to be combined with the air/water outdoor unit NIBE F2015 -6, -8, -11 kw and the controller NIBE SMO 05 or NIBE SMO 10. domestic hot water is produced with help of a stainless steel coil connected to the heat pump. this way the recharge time has been much improved compared to earlier double jacket solution.

the VPB 200N need a space of as little as 570 x 570 mm. Including immersion heater and water connections. the height is 1 400 mm.

efficient hot water in limited Space

Assemblythe water heater is designed for upright installation.

Position the water heater on a firm base that can bear its weight, preferably on a concrete floor or foundation. use the water heater’s adjustable feet to obtain a horizontal and stable set-up.

Pipes must be routed from the safety valves to a suitable floor drain.

* Service space for replacing the immersion heater.

inStallation

Generalthe water heater must be installed vertically and can be aligned using the adjustable feet.

a shut off valve, pressure reducing valve, check valve and expansion valve must be mounted on the cold water side in accordance with current regulations. the drain valve is supplied with the VPB.

Mount a mixing valve (not supplied) on the hot water side so that the outgoing hot water temperature is limited to 60°C. If this valve is not fitted, some other measure must be taken to prevent the risk of scalding.

an adjustment valve must be installed when using several hot water heaters.

Electrical installationVPB 200N can be supplemented with up to two hot water sensors, one for display and one for control. the display sensor is positioned in the upper submerged tube (ua1) and the control sensor in the lower (ua2). In cases where it is only possible to connect one sensor, use the control sensor (lower submerged tube (ua2)).

use the sensors provided with the heat pump (or other heat source). when no heat sensors have been provided these must be ordered from the manufacturer of the heatsource.
